Optional tints ? Starlet rear window sticker?
Amjad replied to little dave's topic in Interior & ICE
If you're interested, a friend of mine is importing a GT with optional tints on the back three windows and he is looking to get rid of them haha. Obviously only practical to swap out the side 2 but hey let me know! Oh I should add, some optional tints were chrome and they're the ones he has, car is arriving in the next few weeks -
Nothing really wrong with an Auto, I'd just rather manual. The first Turbo EP I drove was an Auto GT and I adored it

Going to a good home! Congrats on the feature, it's a nice goodbye. I love rig shots, looking forward to seeing it!

Nice! Fitted pics please

Tegiwank haha Let us know if it's all good for night time driving, when on the motorway/A roads I find myself getting blinded so I use the dimming mode a lot

Ah ok thought I'd mention it just in case I just went out earlier to figure out why my full beams weren't working turns out they just weren't plugged in Quads are a pain to work on the lights there's so little room behind there!

I need your help in tempting me to make a 200 mile trip.

Not everyone can afford a turbo Ad.. Bill go for it! It's a good price! No PAS can be a bit of a pain (my dad had an old starlet without PAS but once moving it was fine). However.. ARMSSSS haha -
Everyone loves Meisters and for good reason! Nice update! Is it a GT box you're using? Don't you get blinded with that mirror at night? Aside from that it looks sweet, are they expensive?

Welcome! I don't think anyone on here has done it, but Morgey had a 4age on his SR The "easiest" conversion is probably the 4efte

Might be worth checking but have a look at the plugs for the bulbs, I was changing out one of my gdads headlight bulbs on his micra and one of the plugs was a bit melted from a short circuit in the past :S Had to play around with it for a while before the headlight actually worked

That is awesome! It's crying out for wider fit wheels though!

Pic request: people with 195/45 Parada/Rainsport 2s

I do hope so! They did rub on the NA but like I said the front is set TOO low and arches aren't rolled Just for reference here's how it looked, gutted I couldn't run it (couldn't be bothered raising and getting tracking done again for the sake of a few months lol) -

Thinking a maximum of 5mm lower on the front and maybe 10mm at the back? When I fitted the wheels on the NA it only rubbed on the front because I set the Meisters too low, the extra stiffness helped a lot on the back. -

Here's some pics of how it stands at the moment, think you can just about see how much they stick out up front I think its just one spot not so much constantly, it will be going slightly lower but like I said stiffness, camber, arch roll and lower profile tyres may just about do it? -

I have seen your V, looks good on ET20 with 50 but I need a lot more clearance for my wheels. I think my GT4 brakes might be giving them an effective offset lower than ET13 as the wheels seem to stick out more than they did on Josh and Lew777's GTs The rears aren't so bad but the fronts are a bit silly -

Thanks for that! Looks like a few mm might help! Yeah I know it won't change the width or anything but hoping a few extra mm of space is all I need, as currently the 50s are quite fat! I was thinking of running stretch, I'm confident 185/45 would just about clear but I wanna use the car on track so less grip isn't great -

Well it really only rubs over bumps and dips in the road, I'd have thought with a lower profile, camber, rolled arch lips and stiffer suspension it might just give me enough room? -
Hey guys I'm trying to figure out how to get my wheels to fit the GT without scrubbing like crazy. Currently they're 15x7 ET13 with 195/50 Paradas, and stick out past the outer arch trim about 0.5" and past the inner arch by 1.5"! The car is on springs ATM but will have Meisters & panhard fitted, -1.2 camber dialled in and the arches rolled, but I don't think this will be enough to prevent scrubbing. I wanna see if switching to 45 profiles will save me from buying new wide arches. So with that being said, can anyone using 195/45 Paradas or Uniroyal Rainsport 2s please post pics in here

Few quick questions regarding the 5 spoke wheels: -Were you on coilies at the time? -Did you use 45 or 50 profile tyres? -Were those arches rolled? Trying to figure out what to do with mine, they have 195/50 Paradas, and I'll be running Meisters so it'll be lower but the wheels stick out almost as much as your Grid Drifts!
