  1. lew777 is the only person I know who has them on here James
  2. Dude just look at my car and imagine it while A photoshop probably won't look any where near as it would in real life
  3. Try Braided lines and some fresh DOT 5.1 Toyota fluid
  4. Lew if your ballasts are even a little bit loose (enough to move or rattle against something) they could fail, use foam tape or something to make sure they don't move at all
  5. Thanks for the reply guys! Lee how much are you after for them? Any idea of where I can get wheel studs that deffo fit? And the spacers, is it 6mm either side not 3mm?
  6. I've been searching about and calipers/carriers cost around £100 or less, new Astra CDTi 280mm grooved discs (which just need to be machined down a little to fit) are about £65 then with pads that's around £200 for a setup that is good for street and track! Check this out Clicky! Lew has hubcentrics. Upto 5mm spacer shims are okay, but any more and there's not much thread to hold the wheel on you know? Hubcentric bolt on to the wheel studs, and the wheel bolts on to the studs on the spacer, thereby having a full stud length to hold the wheels
  7. I'm looking into getting some GT4 twin pots, after a bit of reading around, a good disc to use is a 255mm diameter, 25mm wide Prius disk. Stock discs are 17mm vs 25mm Prius and a 3mm disc spacer is needed on each side, is that correct? Meaning there would be an additional 10mm spacing out? Would I need longer wheel studs? Thanks Amjad
  8. Try a Levin/Celica brake conversion dude, that's what I'm going for And 10mm will bring them out quite a bit but you'll probably need a panhard rod if you haven't got one already..and hubcentrics cost about £100 :rtfm:
  9. Yeah I was gonna say Shane has a set, give him a shout on the BBM group
  10. I'm proud of you :') Been too long waiting for the kit man can't wait to see how it looks!
  11. I go to uni here bud, no car though this year (£75/month parking in halls means my means of transport is a push bike..kinda ironic as I have two cars :rtfm: )
  12. Was randomly looking through the braking section and saw this post Umm I think the bracket thing can slide up and down the hose iirc, but it was at the caliper end of the hose. Fitment was very good, only issue I had was with the C-Clip but a good piece of kit for only £30 :rtfm:
  13. Weird, I ran 0.7 bar no problem with a gutted cat and front mount filter! It was JUST under fuel cut Then again, my mani and turbo have been ported!
  14. It is horrible. So much so that I got someone else to do it
  15. ^Ryan Leslie is one amazingly talented musician! I'm listening to the track from StanceWars Trailer
  16. I would have come, but I'm back in Soton now lol Umm not sure on colour, it was either navy/black but it did have a plate S3 FOS/FOP or something similar to that (not sure on last three letters) He actually gave me a nod when I slowed down, bit of mutual respect, nice! Haha
  17. Cheers dude! Haha don't tempt me to spend it, I need to be sensible this time It's only time preventing the wheels being sprayed. I'm back from uni in July so will crack on then hopefully!
  18. Hopefully I'll get some in the summer! LOL it's all in the pipeline, eventually! Thanks Dave, I appreciate it Just thought I'd mention, I thought I couldn't get the car popping but boy was I wrong lol turns out I wasn't driving it hard Get a bit of heat built up in the exhaust system and it POPs nicely on deceleration whilst tapping the go faster pedal..looking forward to when I get a heatwrapped free-er flowing exhaust mani! Oh and I spanked an old shape S3 the other day which was nice lol
  19. Nah not a fan of white wheels on a Black car tbh, much prefer black on black (These MR2s are going back on the GT once sprayed) Got a few more pics after another wash before I left for uni again
  20. Dan I cooked my Greens on 5 mins of spirited country road driving :| The width of your wheels are fine, with regards to discs, you can get uprated ones on Ebay but I'm not sure how much difference they'd make. My NA came fitted with them but my GT brakes a lot more powerfully on it's stock brakes. I don't think rear brakes contribute as much as you'd think, my GT rear discs are tiny anyway! Maybe just get some bit front brakes instead! I want to to the Celica GT4 caliper conversion with 280mm discs on the GT! (costs circa £200)
