  1. Get a fast road set-up on the coilies (only after fitting ALK though as that will knock out tracking massively) Have you got uprated brakes? Get some new discs, RedStuff pads and braided lines along with DOT 5.1 fluid think you've pretty much covered it all though! Oh, and T1Rs are excellent tyres for the price, mine grip in the wet and dry but having gone in a TD04 GT using Paradas, I must admit those are immensely grippy in the dry! (Useless in the wet though from what I've read)
  2. Be careful with the new engine, fte's tend to use more oil I believe..check your oil regularly!
  3. My thoughts exactly. The image looks doctored, body as been buried at sea (didn't know he was a sailor?) and apparently the Navy seals burned the chopper that suffered mechanical failure?
  4. Not today, but last thing I did was fit my Pink TRS Tow strap to the GT
  5. My ISO lead off Ebay worked, just had to slice the car loom plug for the plastic guide on the ISO loom plug to fit in
  6. ^Mine used to drink a LOT more using Tesco momentum on stock ECU compared to V-Power.. Kept using shell on new ECU but wasn't getting decent mpg so I've tried Momentum again on my Mine's ECU and it seems to be pretty frugal, even with hard driving!
  7. WOW I thought that was jacked up! LOL Should look sweet in that colour
  8. Wehey you got a thread up at last Old Glanza looks sleeper-ish, new one looks awesome! I'll be watching this
  9. Woo finally another 6P2 Welcome, get it shining!
  10. I really don't like modern cars, I'd always choose an old school motor given the choice..but if I had to, then or
  11. Believe me John, 4 weeks and I'm already bored of the power
  12. Tidy Get him to buy some Toyota wheels & lower it
  13. x2 Pops from 1800rpm downwards if I let it decelerate in gear, has banged 3 times now You're tempting me to get a ramhorn mani for my CT9 but I need to save for TD04 haha!
  14. I bought some cheapy Turtle Wax stuff from Halfords, does the job! Obviously be careful with the heatgun, I used a hairdryer
  15. Tar/bug remover, spray loads, then heat it up and try scraping it off with your fingernail so as not to damage the lights! Sidestrip glue is really hard and that's how I removed that crap!
  16. I'm gonna do the NA wheels pink (they're on the GT at the moment!), the MR2 wheels off the GT are going Gloss Black but I'll be swapping now and again!
  17. Don't do fluoro pink, I'm waiting for summer hols to do mine (got the paint and all) Naa takata green would be nice!!
  18. I do exactly the same as Jamie, but I use a Microfibre mitt to wash instead. Buy a load of Microfibre cloths and keep them separate for each product you use (OCd but hey, it shows ) I use: Meguiar's Shampoo Plus Ebay Clay AutoBrite Berry Blast as Clay lube/Quick Detailer Auto Glym Super Resin Polish Collinite 476 Wax Autosol Metal Polish for exhaust/wheels Meguiar's Gold Class Purple Tyre Dressing Meguiar's Ultimate Compound for Lights
  19. Sorry I tried taking some but my Phone's camera kept spazzing out from the light!
  20. I left the brake lights with the Filament bulbs that are in there as they're so bright! I really want some HIDs though!
  21. Took it for a spin down the street a few times last night to loosen the car up a bit after being standing for a while, even though I'm driving the GT I miss this car so much! Oh and the HID pattern is better than before, and still adjusts
