  1. I'm shopping round for my insurance at the moment, I'm 20 no NCB starting my own policy What I've found is its cheaper with my Mum as named driver than with my Dad named. Even though he's more experienced and older so maybe you could try switching your named driver? Got mine down to £867 (£755 on a 10 month Bonus accelerator policy) with admiral through Money Supermarket so far and I haven't factored in my 1 years named experience
  2. Bigman, if I do then I'll let you know Josh unfortunately it's not an option, wouldn't make sense insuring two cars especially as I'm only a student!
  3. NA build: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=19950 GT build: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....=33466&st=0
  4. If I kept the GT I probably wouldn't be able to insure it until 2012 after I get 2NCB I need to ask the people who are driving fte'd NAs what their insurance is like Elite? Huh? Sorry dude haven't had a chance to reply, but you got me thinking of doing the conversion again True, it's starting to make sense more now..Good idea I'll start one! Lol if I did break it it would be in Summer next year! What would you need/not need from the car? I'd be happy for you to take the shell but I'm just thinking of what I could sell off the car? With regards to loom, ryan_lang is converting is N/A
  5. They do look amazing in person You are very lucky to be getting one, especially so young!
  6. Try Alliance & Leicester, put your Dad as 1st driver and you as named, should be decent for 1st year, mine was £400
  7. Cheers dude, had a good day Well not so much an update, but a random ramble I suppose lol Got a new wing on the car and the bumper, bonnet back on so it doesn't look bad anymore! Had quite a few passers by giving nice comments and showing some interest which was nice. Turns out apart from getting a mint quadlight & indicator, I'll need £250-300 to repair the damage behind the light, spray the wing, bumper and blend in to the door. It's got me thinking, as much as I've fallen for this car, I'm considering dropping the running gear into the NA instead. Pros: -Cheaper (As I wouldn
  8. No wayyy! This is going to be mad! Ooh and let me know how much the respray will cost you, if I convert the N/A it'll probably get a new lick of paint at some point
  9. I'd recommend a ported mani at least, the restriction is really bad!! Yep defo get a HKS actuator, it will hold boost better and more scope for adjustment. Weird though that you're hitting 0.9 on a stock one, sure it's not a HKS?
  10. FCD and Fuel Pressure Regulator, set it up at 0.9/1 bar Also porting the wastegate helps a bit too or restricting the intake (though I assume you wouldn't want to do that?)
  11. The hard pipes should be clipped in the arch?
  12. I had the same problem dude, easiest thing is to get hold of one of those plugs (off a GT?) There's a few GT up for breaking ask around
  13. Yeah I forget the days when I had no rev dial lol! Bit annoying isn't it!
  14. Good stuff! Straight through w/Apexi intake FTW!
  15. I've always wanted this look on mine, as above the only suitable rims I've seen are the Grid Drifts, but I'd want 15s P.S. I think the Camber bolts are cheaper from Fensport!
  16. I've got 12"x6" on mine and it looks a lot nicer than the normal ones because the font is a bit smaller
  17. Me & ryan_lang got our's made up by Pro-Speed exhausts down here in Cardiff. Obviously far away from you lol the quality of their work is immense though, I'll probably go back to them to get my GT's exhaust done too! Cost me £259 got a custom 2" Cat-Back (Straight through with an Apexi N1 style angled back box)
  18. No worries! Sounds nice! It's a bit annoying having a full GT interior in the NA but still having the Grany-spec door cards haha
  19. Here's a guide for fitting the HKS actuator! http://dub-se7en.toyotagtturbo.com/useful_...hksactuator.pdf
  20. Just discovered a guy called Phaeleh, some pretty sick tunes on his album "Within The Emptiness" http://www.filefactory.com/file/b0b21e3/n/...2009-KOUALA.rar
