who's up for walking? or skiing...round the 'ring. -
Silly question but I can't find a true figure...always just pour until I get bored. What's the stock EP82 take to fill? anyone got any ideas on how much extra oil is needed to charge the Greddy oil cooler system (with relocator) The car has got 4 litres in it at the moment, need to get it spot on before the trip!

your bike = blackbird...the trackstar = hyabusa ;) Seriously though, you're a legend if you ride over 2k miles to the ring etc and the alps pass should be out of this world for you...Adam and I don't care aslong as you're there on the trip. Good luck, for what it's worth, it seems like a foregone conclusion now doesn't it? just going through the final motions. That bint who hit you, words fail me. > -
No Si, going to leave the scoop carbon...it was actually painted black when I got it....sick of painting carbon fibre

tc? As in...tcfurliefs (spelling) ? galliano my dear boy, I import these things from Yahoo in my very own container, it's full of magical items and cars Sparky it's all out there in Japan mate if you know where to look...now somebody buy my bonnet as I'm poor.
-
team Smiles used them (if you own Hyper Rev you can find the bonnet at the back) and Jam I think only used the bonnet scoop..which is their own design. Rare as rocking horse poo though the bonnet.
-
Bit boring but some may find it interesting. Finally got the container over with all the bits in and my J. Blood FRP bonnet for the trackstar. Spent the day fitting it then filling, sanding and spraying it For those who don't know, it's an FRP bonnet with raised rear lip running vents along the windscreen side. This means I don't have to raise the back of the bonnet, it improves cooling (with the JAM bonnet vent), improves air flow and aids the downforce slightly (maybe) Will fit it tomorrow..I think I'm getting quite good at the bodyshop lark!

Awesome news that is...turning a car around from potential write off to ring muncher in 3 weeks is the stuff of legends, if Matt pulls it off, it will be spoken about for centuries (or minutes). On a side note...guess what? still no brakes or word from HiSpec woot ;) -

Cheers chaps, Matts updated me, it's sat on his drive..waiting for an engineer and a garage to come look at it tomorrow and work out what's wrong. Worse case it's a complete write-off and he strips it and buys a bike for the trip, best case he needs a wing, an alloy and both drive shafts to get it running. Either way, I'm thinking it's about 80% he won't make the trip ;) -

Well if it's a cat B...the trip is over for you (in the EP atleast) dropping an engine in, stripping the car etc in just over 2 weeks is a TALL order even for us. Let's hope it's a cat D, they pay up sharpish and in the meantime get the bits together to fix it...not sure how the insurance / DVLA need the car declaring also a new insurance policy? Kind of good news in a way :S -

Same cam as me, Matt gave me the idea to get the POV1. Mounted in the front grille. I drive a similar road every morning and every now and then you get a complete tool (usually a young woman in a mini or saxo) doing 40+ with no concept of speed or danger. I'm sure we'll keep you posted. I like your exclamation Matt 'JESUS' -

Let's hope there's no further damage than the above ^ Still a tall order depending on how quickly the insurance wheels get moving. I may have some spare rims you can use also. Mark -

I wouldn't pie her with yours mate...she's the bint who hit him. Unless by pie you mean put the fucker in the ground, she'll just buy another shitbox car and crash into someone else. idiot. I'll ask Matt if he has any neck pain you ambulance chaser you. Cheers Raje, just trying to get some bits in place so we can move quickly and get it sorted if need be...any help obviously paid for and muchos appreciated, even a credit in the DVD -
Matt, MuthaDucka...had a smash last night. Some retarded bitch drove into him on a single track road. Anyone want to help with parts to get him back on the road? 3 weeks till the trip He needs drivers driveshaft, 1 D2 coilover, front wing, poss drivers door, 1 alloy...what shit luck hey? been planning this trip for over a year now and he's just got the car back on the road to bed in the brakes.

Need some brake caliper extenders...quick!
NightSpirit replied to NightSpirit's topic in Lifestyle General
I'm thinking that's the way forward...always up for fisting. Rick the actual caliper extention bracket is what I want to alter, it's the dog bone shaped metal plate that moves the caliper away from the hub to allow for bigger discs. Will find out what they say -
Sorry for posting here, wrong section I know... Finally the HiSpec brakes arrive and guess what? the bell's don't fit the rotors snuggly...around 1-2mm gap so they are very very hard to line up perfectly...guess what? I can't line them up perfectly. So they're off centre. Awesome. Not only that but the caliper fowls on the disc... My only solutions I can think of are to get some new caliper brackets made (the dog bone types) to clear the disc...or just buy some T-Sport discs for the trip, either way HiSpec will feel my wrath, useless cunts. Anyone got any suggestions on where I can get the

I practice heel and toe in any car I drive (except the gland as the pedal setup is shit)...like I practice left foot braking in the jag (it's an auto so I can practice gauging force/pressure) All good fun. Nice loafers by the way
