  3. Now I know my choice of bodykit (Purple Speed) has met with some criticism and this latest purchase is another marmite product. Personally I love it, it's got an acrylic rear window and lightweight wing so it'll save weight, the downforce the thing will generate will be obscene, it's the only one in existence (to my knowledge), should help cornering stability too. Now the interesting thing is...what car did it come off? didn't recognise it at first...but it's the actual lid off this car. What has happened to the rest of the car I don't know the seller in Japan was a scrapyard.

I think this thread is a bit pointless...if it was 'proven 0-60 times of your car' then that would be very interesting to read...maybe we could even have a power table, where you can post your car, a brief list of mods, the image of the dyno run, bhp, torque and times/top speed if you have them...we can then see how we stack up. I only say this thread is pointless as book times are odd things, I've never seen a stock GT pull anything less than 8.5 to 60. So just because the book 0-60 of my jag is 7.5 (or something) you'd think the 6.9 of the GT would have me (just) but I have no doubt the jag

  7. Yup the GT badge on the mk1 or early GT's do light up green when the lights are on ;) that's why I like the earlier cars to the later ones.... Riko and Mikey's cars might have looked matt with the frost, mine looked matt because the paintwork is fooked.

  10. what a load of old cock... fixed it. but will have to make up some wiring that does the same job as the stock hazard switch. Basically, when the switch is off, the live feeds one connection to the indicators, when it's on, the connection to the indicators is off and the 6 connectors are all fed.

Personally, I'd say a set of Wedsport TC05s like I have from Yahoo 15", Volk/Rays TE37s 16" from Yahoo, with a set of my red Volk duralum wheel nuts or a nice set of Advan RGs 16" again from Yahoo. I can find you any wheels you like, as can anyone else who bids on the japanese auctions...can save yourself some serious cash too. All the above rims are white by the way. You could also go for a set of rare Sparco Venoms (black rims with red anodised lip) very nice on a red car. Basically white rims, black rims...both will suit the car well. I'd also say that the EP doesn't suit rims
  14. My favourite single mod is torn between 2 things...it's either dropping the dragstar engine into the trackstar or building myself a custom flocked dash binnacle...only one in the world.
  15. that's what I'm thinking Jaystar...as the hazard switch itself is a simple track/bridge of connections, I'm going to have to use an on/on switch that connects the indicator track in the off state and then the hazard track in the on state. pain in the yaris.
  16. Just a quick one, incase I'm missing something glaringly obvious. Indicators all worked fine, when I modified the hazard lights switch (basically wired the switch to be permanently on, but bridged the live feed with a toggle switch....that's all good. But since the switch mod was done, indicators are now dead although the hazard works. All fuses are fine, because the hazard works it's not the flasher unit. Any ideas? What I'm actually thinking is that the hazard can't be wired on (even though there is no power) when you want to use the indicators...if that's the case I'm going to have to mo
  17. Not got this info to hand can someone remind me?...stock rims 14s I know, what width and what tyre height? Same for 15s, although I can find that out easily enough, what tyre height is correct for the same rolling radius as the stock 14s? Mark
