I've ruled out the water pump and it is looking to be the rad cap now alright phil,going to get one at work 2mro and try it,need to get this mo fo on the road,lol

Yeah head is 100%. It's pointing towards the water pump ATM.

It's a brand new gasket,head skimmed etc,so doubt it.

right ive a problem with my coolimg system pressurising.the pipes feel like they are about to go hard,and the whole system heats up very quickly. i think its a problem with my golpher alloy rad,ive spoke to corey on the matter as he had a similer problem and it turned out the rad cap wasnt letting the system breath due to the rad holding the cap down to tight(not letting the coolant passed it). ive file;d the rad slighty to not hold the cap as tight,but doesnt seem to be much help. ive tested the thermostat,its fine. water pump is new. rad cap is a blitz item. anyone else had a similer problem with a golpher rad? its doing my head in at this stage.

i bought a set of rad hoses of neil a few months back,went to fit them last week,and they did line up very well at all,contacted neil,and he gave me a full refund. just thought id share my experience.

ive sent the head away to see if theres any probs with it,wont be back till next week though,will give it one last go with another gasket once its back to see what the story is.

update time. having a lot of hold ups,with personal shit,waiting on parts,parts to be made,parts missing etc. but i booked off all next week,sole'ly to finish this. so,entered the garage to this....as id stripped alot off it for various reasons and my crazy ideas. a while later it looking like this.... and a few sneak peaks at our Garage-C ps pump set up which is near finished.... we stripped alot of crap out that wont be used,so the engine bay will be alot less cluttered compared to most. we are working on our own cars to finish things up,so no more starlets in the yard for awile!

just read through a few pages of this,stunning and epic build,hats off to you fella.! cars is an absolute credit!
