im just trying to think if its worth while trying to get the map better with the current setup, it just doesnt feel quick as it should.and top end is shit! i read that someone had a tongs which outperformed a speedvision unit which i know isnt great anyway but it made me wonder..

Ok so I'm booked in for Tuesday to try get more out my hybrid on dastek, I wondered, has anyone went from a speed vision to another hybrid and what difference was their ? Or from another to the speed vision ? Just so I know if it's gonna be worth it..

hi guys, im going to replace my air filter as i think its taking too much moisutre and dirt from the front but its currently a home made metal pipe which goes from the turbo to filter. can any one point me to a link for the silicon elbow size i would need to still locate near the front on my hybrid? i think its about a 55mm intake diameter, but not sure on the length of each leg needs to be and what length of metal pipe i then put on but i can figure that out..

its booked into HQ performance next tuesday, i wasnt getting any running issues but now i am.. yesterday idle was acting strange, randomly sitting about 500rpm, vacume at -15psi instead of the usual -20, then it started to bob up and down a little and gradually drop until it cut out. it restarted just fine though. i have to use it for work this week so this morning from cold ging down the expressway gradually building revs in 3rd about 2000rpm it hesitated a few times and one point it made the dump valve go which was very strange! im gonna check the plugs are clean even thought they are fairly new. any thoughts?

Mine isn't a slight hint... I just done 250 hard miles on it today with loads of pedal to metal action and didn't miss a beat but does feel it should b faster as it was much quicker than a Clio 182 considering I've got a hybrid setup at 1 bar etc , I'll book it into performance hq get the map checked I think

so the oil shouldnt smell of fuel is that right? some people are saying its normal in a moddified car and some not.. ive had the fueling checked over my ownership and its fine apparently ..

Ok so as far as I know it's always smelled of petrol , but today when I changed the oil it smelled strong in in oil that got drained out. Is this normal ? Or is it a case of get it checked pronto.. Running dastek ecu hybrid etc etc..

if its described as perfect when bought and its anything but what you were told then i would send it back for £100 refund and source from somewhere else.. no point going thru the hassle of trying to rebuild your self with cheap rebuild kits and be in the same situation a month down the line , or have to fork out for it to be done proper.. Not worth the hassle unless you get a good refund back to cover costs etc.. i run a speedvision gen2 hybrid at 1.1 bar most of the time and its been faultless but my gen1 shat its self 2 times after rebuilds so gave up on it.

u can vouch for wynss rapid wheel cleaner! get it from euro car parts for like £5 for 1ltr, really really good stuff

Ok guys so im not overly happy with the ct9 hybrid setup anymore and im looking to change but i dont think i wanna go down the td04 route where i gotta change the mani etc etc, so is their a better turbo or setup for some more power without having to change everything? im planning on getting the map tweeked to make sure its as good as it can be but i just wondered if their was another setup about?
