  1. Mmmm cruise I'm very jealous of that, gotta love the white rays too. Looking good mate.
  2. Cheers guys, it was an amazing time and I'd recommend it to anyone, doesn't cost to much either.
  3. Well as some of you may have known I've been away for the last 4 months travelling around Asia with my girlfriend, we went from hong kong up through china, across to south korea then to japan and back again. It was a brilliant experience and I'd recommend anyone to do it, I've seen so many amazing sites that I can't even start to list them all. Hong Kong is a great place such a vibrant and lively 24hr place, even if your sitting doing nothing there's still something to watch going on, its such a busy place but then you can escape on a ferry to a small island and experience a totally different atmosphere. China is huge and has so many contrasts from the rural town area's to the bustling hugeness of shanghai, and the people are all so friendly. South Korea is really nice, so clean and easy to get about, for a supposed developing country it makes britain seem likes its back in the stone ages, the people are stupidly friendly and really will totally go out of their way to help you. The transport and roads are so good compared to the uk and the food is awesome and so cheap, its basically a great place for a holiday as it has something for everyone - busy cities, rural towns with amazing scenery and hikes, beautiful beaches and places to escape everything. Japan was brilliant too, again the people are so friendly and helpful the food is great and the cities are awe inspiring. Its maybe not quite like looking into the future as some say but its certainly a very modern place and again shows where the uk is really needing to catch up in development of everything basically! The runours about it being stupidly expensive aren't true either, ofcourse if your silly you could blow money instantly but if your sensible you can eat, drink shop and sleep for cheaper and much more enjoyably than here. You can spend ages in the big cities just walking around exploring and thoroughly enjoy it and then you can escape to the coutryside and see some stunning landscapes..... oh I love being home:( I'll write up some tales about the trips and stick a few pictures up later but for now here's just a few from the end of japan as a little teaser. And some cars ofcourse!
  4. Looks nice with the remix bumper mate, I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm home, I stay in kirrie...
  5. I might be able to bring back some rays engineering wheel nuts from japan in a month, red black or blue and they`ll probably cost around 75 quid which may seem a lot but its cheaper than anywhere else. I`ll put up some details soon....;)
  6. I like the race look with the stickers. The gear knob is a greddy one by the way.
  7. I'm looking forward to seeing how this looks..... But I think you should sell me the cruise bonnet since I can't get one on the plane back from japan with me, and they cost over 500 quid from toby now! ;)
  8. I'm going to be in Japan in a few weeks and was hoping to pick up some goodies on the cheap for my glanza when I'm there. So does anyone know of anywhere that I might be able to get parts over there? I know of the obvious places such as zep, cruise and jam etc (Autobacs too but it seems like a jap halfords!) but I'm looking for any other places that sell tuning bits where I could have a browse? Cheers Wallace
  9. Good price. The difference between new 98 one's and even just used 98 one's is massive, a huge improvement.
  10. Cheers guys, the trip should be awesome, I'll share all the pics when I get back.
  11. Cheers man, the metallic really comes out when polished which I love. The car is going to be hidden away as I said,so you'll have t find it first to get the seats! Cheers mate, the 98 front is so much better! Also don't worry I'll take plenty of pics, I'm going to see a round of the D1GP in Okayama which should be awesome!
  12. This wil be the last update for a long time, as I'm off to hong kong on thursday, then I'll be seeing some of china, south korea and japan for four months! So anyway.... I received, hacked up and fitted my new black '98 spec bumper today, I think it looks good but really needs the oem splitter and the rough cuts smoothed to really finish it off; Also the previous weeked I attempted to give the car a good polish but only got as far as the rear! :homer: Still I was happy with the way it came up; So thats how the car will remain for the next few months, hidden away, hopefully come july I'll have an update with a few new bits I might pick up in jdm land.
  13. Thats a nice neat job cutting the bumper. I should've asked you to do mine before you sent it. I'm gonna be fucking butchering it with a hacksaw tomorrow!
  14. Awesome! Can't wait to see that, chu's never posted good pics of that purple beast! ;) Hope your having a good time in HK, I need info when you get back as I'm away there myself on thursday! Safe travels.
  15. I'm the only poor bugger using IE 6 ! ;)
  16. yes yes yes, but with his sneaky mod powers he deleted them before I got a chance to
  17. The cheap stuff eh! Makes a change, I don't think thats the stuff I'll get because the evo's are more like alcantara, its either that or the velour. And for once sparky I have no idea what you is on about! ;) Edit I get it now.
  18. Nice, I'l defintely be doing that at some point then, just need to figure out which material will match the black on my seats. Cheers Si.;)
  19. Yeah thats what I just thought would make more sense after I said it! How much did the fbric costwhen you bought it? I'd have to do the armrest like yourself too. ;)
  20. I'm trying anyway! I've had them on the lancer forum for a week with no luck, but a set out of an 8 went for 50 quid last week on ebay so its worth a try! Cheers, didn't really have to do much though! Possibly, I'll probably get rid of the rear seats though, but the recaro ddor cards like your own would be nice. Also sparky you can come up here for a cuddle anytime. ;)
  21. Yeah they pop up on ebay quite regularly, you can have my rear evo seats if you want!
  22. Cuddles? ;) Cheers Idrees, yours are nice too.
  23. Cheers, I know I'm loving them! ;)
  24. Recaros Baby!!!! Thanks to Damian aka cantbassed for the Evo 7 recaros, he had the mounts welded onto the evo frames so they simply bolted straight in. ;) :B They're so much better than the crappy standard seats and grip you perfectly.
  25. Yeah, I have both HKS actuator and GReddy profec ebc and it doesn't stop it, mine creeps upto 16-17psi where I hit my fuel cut, only when its really cold though.
