Well if your bro doesn't want to sell his and you do swap, how about I buy it off you then I'll buy you a new one since I need one but then wouldn't have to pay for spraying if I get your bro's? Christ that's complicated! ;)

Where's the s bonnet coming from? ;) ;)

He's only just started ecks I hardly think he's keeping it on with that turbo. Will be good to see how your starlet compares to your civic. ;)

You don't need injectors just now mate, you won't need larger injectors until your running over 200-220bhp then the injectors will be struggling to supply enough fuel. If you're wanting to do some basic mods just now to get some more power, you should look at changing the exhaust manifold, a decat if you've still got the stock downpipe and then maybe a front mouted airfilter. These mods will also increas the boost a little as the turbo will be breathing easier so you should also get a boost gauge to monitor it, you can run upto 0.8bar happily with the stock ecu providing adequate fuel and it will still be a nice bit quicker. You should also start looking at the stock brakes and suspension which are pretty poor....

Exhaust whistle tips will these catch on in the uk? I hope to fcuk they don't! Wath out for the nutter's awesome driving skills at 1.50 too.... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=eSOSJ68xOBA&...feature=related "that's like alarm clock whoo whoo!!"

Cheers man, the craziest has to be cramming onto a train in china, its rediculous how packed it was that I can't even explain, every inch of the train was packed out even the toilets we couldn't even move our feet, we were stood nose to nose with the other passengers and we were that way for 7 hours! Was hard trying to sleep that night! As for cost, china is silly cheap we spent about 800quid there in two months, korea was about 700 in one month then around 900 in japan for the month and then the flights were about 600, going from edinburgh to gatwick to hong kong, then back form osaka, japan. So a total of about £3-3.5k each.

I've got over 250 pics that I took from this so this is a select few, the whole lot can be viewed on my putfile here: http://www.putfile.com/album/195065/?page=18 It was an awesome day out and some mental motors were there, its just a shame the weather was crap on both days, it did clear up at the very end of the last day so the final battles had a nice bit of smoke; Look at dem rims!!! Guess what this is.... Street Legal class winner: No bumpers ftw! This beast came second overall, and I still don't know what the fark it is; We have a winner; The final battle: Disco glanza!; Car of the day..... mmmm nice!

Parcel farce bending my fucking bonnet and still not being able to drive my car, its been over 4 months now since I've driven it!!!! ;)

Taking the fuel cap off will just release the pressure in the fuel system so it doesnt spray out when you undo the first bolt, instead with the cap undone it will just be a pathetic dribble like an 86 year old man at the urinal.;)

Yeah its a right fucking kick in the nuts, you know how much I was wanting the s bonnet but I guess I'll probably just buy one now whatever happens since the bent one will need a respray anyway. ;) Parcel force ar a joke though, it must take some effort to bend a bonnet, plus previously when I was posting out 2 bumpers on the same day with them they only picked up one despite me phoning them up and confirming they had two listed to pick up. The corsica is a sexy wheel I've wanted one for ages now, best looking wheel imo, plus as an added bonus my horn button on the steering wheel actually works for the first time since I've owned the car! I can finally dispense road rage as it happens not ten minutes later when I find the horn button. -

Todays events Firstly the good: Well finally I finished what I started yesterday, so first of all I began stripping! After that I removed my cars rear seats, parcel shelf and various interior parts so I could get the old seat belts out like so: Seats out: I drew the line at keeping these out as they seem to provide a bit of structural strength between the b-pillar and floor, but they had to come out to access the belt mechanism: Old belts out: With most panels out: So with all those parts out I could then fit my new harnesses, omp road one's which I got for a bargain £46: The co-pilots happy he finally gets a nice seat. With them fitted I could move onto my new item which I received yesterday, a very sexy OMP Corsica steering wheel and boss kit: I finally got it fitted today after borrowing a star drive which I didn't have but needed to get the old wheel off, now that its fitted I'm very pleased with how the interior looks: I'm well chuffed now, however I still havent had the car out as it has no bonnet, which leads me on to... The Bad I had agreed with Idrees and his brother to swap my glanza v bonnet for his bro's glanza s bonnet, so I wrapped up my bonnet as best I could and sent it off with parcelfarce on monday, it arrived today with Idrees very bent: So I'm very pissed off ;) I'm going to try and claim money back for it and buy a brand new S bonnet, my hopes aren't high of getting compo but I'm going to pester them everyday until they give me some money! -
Welcome to the site, your gonna love the handling of a GT after owning a VX220! ;)

I remember at the scottish meet last year I was spinning in 5th gear on the dualler at 70mph, starlets are pretty bad in the wet! Also its just started pissing here as I'm trying to do things to the car, so bloody annoying.

My Troublesome Turbocharged Terror

Well since I've been back in the UK for over 1 day now I thought it was about time I did some more mods to the car, as thats whats important its not like I've got a large overdraft and need to find a job..... So anyway I picked up a few small parts when I was in "teh JDM" as some might say, nothing exciting as I didn't manage to get to any proper tuning places, so these are the bits: A TRD horn button (which I don't even have a wheel for!), a Razo 340R gear knob (nice and heavy just how I like my knobs), Razo Formula Spec Pedals and a Silk Road/Section engine torque damper. Et voila the shiny new parts fitted: ] I can't say what differnce any of the parts make as I can't drive the car at the moment since it needs tax and an oil change, but reversing it out the garage was exciting and at least it started nice and easily first time despite the fact it hasn't moved in 4 months. Also I should have another update in a day or so as I have a quite a few more bits on the way, so stay tuned for that! Comments welcome, cheers.
