As I said the S15 is sweet, enjoy the dorifto! I'll have to keep an eye out for the tc v too....
-
Con's: It will make the car slower, handle worse, tires cost a lot more, and imo it will look like a roller skate plus yes you probably will get rubbing. Enjoy.

How the hell did my car get all the way to cornwall last night on 3 cylnders, and still get me a speeding ticket?! :P
-
Nice. I take it that its rear drive too?
-
Have you got a boost gauge, with the free-er flowing mani and decat you may have a bit of a boost drop, or just a leak. What sort of boost control do you have?
-
I think he might have stopped looking by now since that was over a year and a half ago!
-
Nope, will just be a single wire that splices into the wire from the original o2 sensor, easiest at the ecu.
-
Not really it gives a rough indication of the fuelling, I had one in my car, just don't expect to be able to set the car's fuelling up using it.
-
I doubt the autogauge will be wideband. Also you said it doesnt come with the sensor so it will be narrowband.

Payment sent.

The hole is where the standard bov should be, they could've at least blocked that up. But since it doesn't even have an air filter it doesn't really matter.

These one's are hard to get though as their discontinued, but I prefer them to the new BF range. They're still expensive too. -

Just for you sparks: -
You don't need one to give you more power unless the hks actuator can't adjust the boost anymore (I think it only adjusts upto 1.1bar?), you can also get a quicker spool time with a properly set up ebc, mostly it just gives you more adjustability.

Well you can see how it lights up in the bottom picture, just the green digits and lines with a red needle. I'll take a pic when it gets dark. -
An oldie but still my best pic: Need to get some new good one's once the makeover is complete,

I looked at this post slightly blurry eryed there and got a bit excited, I thought it said "New photo's Shelly's bottom Page 5" but alas no. We need updates!

My Troublesome Turbocharged Terror

Despite the fact my engine might well be fubared (running on 3 cylinders, compression test to come) I'm still doing mods! I got myself a defi link boost gauge and control unit II for an absolute bargain so removed the old autometer gauges and fitted the defi the other day: My new peak boost on stock turbo isn't it!: Yes I now need another gauge to go in the pod and I'm planing on getting a few more defi's to match. I've also got a few more little interior bits I'm doing this week and will hopefully find the problem with the engine too! -
Inside.;) You'll also need a couple of hose clamps the same size.
-
Just go out and measure the diameter of your top rad hose and get the one that is the same or slightly smaller.;)

Their won't be any problem with the sensors, the top one is the lambda (oxygen sensor) which is the important one and needs to go in your new decat, the other is the cat temp sensor which just lights a bulb on the dash if the cat gets too hot but it can be left off with no problem or the light popping up on the dash. -
It certainy won't take a week! Boost as above, afr assuming its just a narrowband will just have a positive and negative wire and one which takes the afr reading the ecu see's, so you just need to splice this into the correct wire to the ecu. For the water temp gauge you'll need an adaptor which goes in the top radiator hose for the sensor to screw into, then its just the other power wires again. Also with the pillar pod, I'd get some strong mounting tape, I've got "foam mounting tape" from B&Q as the pillar doesn't have the same clips as the standard one so needs stuck down at the top.
-
No just the one cheers, I'll have to wait till next week to pay though as I've only got 5quid left before my overdraft limit! I'll bump this up once I've paid, cheers.

Cheers mate, its got all new dizzy, rotar arm, leads and plugs, so I'm doing a compression test first to find the missing cylinder, then I'll go from there.
