The buggered engine is out and the new engine has arrived and will hopefully be going in tomorrow! I didn't manage to get any work done till after 5 tonight but the engine came out fairly easily (once I'd un snagged the gear shifter cable which got caught!) So I just need to swap over some parts from the old block to the new and fit the blitz clutch then it will be ready to go back in tomorrow and hopefully all running by friday, fingers crossed for this one!

No there's not. They just look smoked when you fit them because the cluster is black.

Cheers for that mate, I considered taking it out the bottom but thought it would end up just as easy taking it out the top. If I struggle getting it out up the way then I'll just drop the bugger out!

Looks a niceclean standard example, those tsw's are so old skool, they were about back in the day of the venoms!

Got a bit more done yesterday and today in preparation of putting the new engine in, everything else has been stripped off the engine ready to go onto the new one and the rest of the earths and bits unplugged: Also got the shafts out, a bit of a pain in the arse but got there in the end: So all thats left is to take the mounts off and lift it out with the aid of this: Big thanks to Gary (EP91STARLET) for lending it to me. Unfortunately I didn't get the engine out as I have no chains or straps here and the block is missing the hooks to lift it out with due to the useless garage that changed the head and didn't put them back on! I've got a small pile of parts going on along with the new engine: I'm going to finally get the sexy Blitz clutch fitted and have some nice samco hoses to go on and will be changing the cv boots too as their a bit worn aswell as some fresh gearbox fluid. Hopefully the new engine will be here on wednesday and fitted and running on thursday, we'll see though....

REFLET!!! There the same style as mine but it was ages ago I fitted them so you're peobably right, the other reflet one's are just the uk style na one's.

But you've got the reflet lenses these have an orange strip for the indicator, I thought it was only one screw on mine?It doesnt really matter anyway they will still need bonded ideally if going on the 96 cluster.

I was just randomly looking in here and found it amusing that I took a photo of the exact same glanza you did Shelly! Even funnier that it seems to be parked in almost exactly the same spot! Except its more boxed in when I took the photo so thats why its a bad photo.

Good progress already, the stock tmic should be fine at 0.8bar. I f you really don't like the fmic's then you could find an arc tmic and use that, it would do the job nicely.

I like it just on the b pillar but I think it might be too much over the whole window surround. It might look good though, I guess you can take it back off easy enough if you don't like it too.

No you won't have to touch the wiring if you just change the lenses,also these lenses mean you don't have to worry about the reverse light for the na's as the bottom section is clear.

Bondage will be required.

There's many other car's I'd much rather have for the price. As a technical show of what can be done its impressive but it just doesn't excite me.

All they've done is chopped the roof off and made it slower, great!
