  1. Hardly, maybe if your planning on keeping yor car for more than a decade then you might notice a slight difference.
  2. I bought mine over 2 years ago, I'm sure it was around £35 delivered, Toby/Whiteline used to be a lot cheaper....
  3. The other one isn't an actual picture of the kit for a starlet, its just for reference. I'm sure they were like less than 40 quid when I got mine too....
  4. It is an s14a there's a photo of how it used to look, one things for sure its damn sexy.
  5. How does the C's compare to the TC's??
  6. You could've looked a lot worse goin under the car when its sat on bricks like that! I wouldn't be going under there, get some proper axle stands they don't cost much!
  7. Love's aren't the jam style they're the livesports but glanzaturbo's are the JAM style one's. I'm also undecided on the eyebrow's I had a set of JAM style one's and sold them but I'm going to get the cf JAM one's and see how they look, from some angles I like them then others I don't. I wouldn't getany but the JAM style one's though as the rest don't look good imo.
  8. Where is the boost gauge tee'd in? I guess you're actually making boost its just the gauge ie the lights on the rev counter still come on?
  9. Yeah just splice it in using a crimp or solder.
  10. Radio wire's are easy to get at and splice into.
  11. Is that a huuuuuuge wing on the back too? Looks interesting thats for sure. Welcome to the site.
  12. Lol, it should be! Makes me laugh every time I see the thread.
  13. Could just be water on the plugs check and see if there is any down the spark plug chambers. The first thing I would do, as Jay said is to get a boost gauge fitted, its one of the most important things to have in a turbo'd car. You could also get the fuelling checked as it is now on a rolling road, a power run normally costs about 50-60 quid and will let you know how the car's performing and give you a base figure for improving on with any mods you do, plus it will give you peace of mind that all is ok now.
  14. If the fly is already lightened then its ok to go straight on but if you're lightening the crank it needs done with the fly on. I would wearquicker as their designed with racing in mindnot stop and start traffic etc but yeah I would've thought you'd be able to get justthe friction plate seperately.
  15. Cheers mate, I assume its the rays you like, I hate having the shitty winter wheels on but I need 4 new tires for the rays and its too late in the year to put them on now. The car looks crap without them.
  16. The enkei's are definately better.
  17. You won't be able to get quotes online for the glanza you have to phone up. Try the like's of adrian flux and sky insurance they're your best bet. Also, no you can't put it down as a GT Turbo as it will not be insured properly then, glanza's are a lot more to insure than GT's as they're not on the insurance system's and have to be manually processed. Also look in here: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=129 (Where you should've posted too )
  18. Cheers mate. From what I read about that clutch its a bit more harsh but could still be used everyday, its a true paddle clutch though and its only got 3 paddle bits which means it will be more grabby than the likes of the orc since it has a complete friction plate it will also wear quicker. It also costs at around £300 and doesn't come with a lightweight flywheel whereas for £500 the orc does so its pretty much the same if you were to buy a lightweight fly later. These types of clutch's and especially the paddle type aren't ever going to be as good at stop start traffic as the stock one's but if their really bad it could be just be needing adjusted. I was realy surprised at the difference in mine by just bleeding it and adjusting the pedal slightly.
  19. You can't blaim the company that sells them! Its YOU that decides where they go in the car and your fault if they happen to obstruct your view.
  20. Yes you'll be close to fuel cut, do you not have a boost gauge?
  21. Its still a toyota, scion is just the kind of sporty hip young brand in the us and japan, it has nothing to do with a starlet though... still nice though.
  22. The o2/lambda sensor could be getting a false reading and overfuelling to compensate when it detects moreoxygen in the exhaust.
  23. Now you look stupid, its meant to be that way. Its not the bov its connected to an oil catch tank. I still can't believe you got the scotland flag wrong!
  24. Sounds like fuel cut, do you have a boost gauge?
  25. Dude, thats not a scotland flag!
