  1. Hi mate can you see if you can find me a price for this, I need the part of the speedo cable which screws into the gearbox and connects to the end of the speedo cable as mine has snapped, here's my broken one for reference: I assume the bit in the vice is the speedo converter? Its just the bit from the black nut up that I need. This is the other end in the gearbox which it should be attached to: If you could just find me a price for now as I might see about getting a second hand one, its for a 96/97 Glanza. Thanks mate.
  2. You can adjust the brightness.
  3. Its fast, but its not the fastest evo.... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=FTTEdswe_v0
  4. There's not really much to it, its just a few nuts and bolts, here's my silkroad one: The only slightly tricky thing is that you need to extend the damper ie unscrew the one end then bolt it in and tighten it using the little metal rod by twisting it.The engine should then be heldn ice and tightly.
  5. Completely safe, you may get a bit of creep with the deact though, but the intercooler may also give more stable boost. Below fuel cut you don't need any sort of fuelling or management, you may need to turn the actuator down a little or get a decent boost controller or even port the wastegate when you get the decat though.
  6. Well my wheels are the same size not sure on the offset though but would be similar and I had 205/50's which scrubbed on full lock so I'm just fitting 195's this time. My car is fairly low though...
  7. They're just normal steering wheel boss's not snap off one's. Sparky you won't need one specifically for a starlet, their pretty universal just depends on the wheel and boss you already have fitted. ;) Edit: Don't know if this would wrk but its going cheap - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RAGE-STEERING-QUICK-...id=p3286.c0.m14
  8. Thats even worse than just spraying it black. Just save your pennies and get a real one later!
  9. How the hell can you findit hrd to get the strut brace off!? Its only 4 nuts. ;)
  10. Autosol works if you use it properly, you definatley need to lacquer it after polishing it as mine lasted a few weeks before it looked crap when I polished it, it looks much better sprayed imo. ;)
  11. Yeah good advice, also don't let him send it second class! ;)
  12. Cause he was gonna sell it to me for 30quid till you butted in! ;) Start with a low offer next time!
  13. I'm still waiting too, beginning to think its gone missing.
  14. I was pretty sure they were all coated, mine's gone all scabby now as the coating has just flaked off. As above though your not gonna get any sort of warranty on it now.
  15. "Nice and Spicy" although its now called "Sweet and Spicy" also "Spicy Tomato Salsa" was amazing but you don't get it anymore "Mexican Fajita" is pretty good too if you still get that? How I miss my student days...
  16. There was a post on tgtt.com about a 22B that they have for sale, which had covered around 30000miles more than it was being advertised as having done. This one: http://www.wrc-sales.co.uk/bradford/?mf=6
  17. Alot! Like £400, some places charge half that though.
  18. I would've taken it to a different tester, especially after he sat and revved it at 7.5krpm, thats not good.
  19. Yeah looks very clean mate, the 17's don't look too bad actually, they don't look that big. We need pics of the "TRD Calipers" though.
  20. The fact you're a girl....
  21. I'm a bargain hunter so I got mine brand new off ebay for £200, with the ignition and injector harness's. To get a good tune from the emanage you need the two harness's above as it gives more adjustability (the harness's only cost 15quid each anyway), also if you planning on running abve 1 bar you also need the greddy 3 bar pressure/map sensor. As I said the tuner is also a very important part so make sure there is someone you can take the car to who will be able to do a good job of mapping it for you, also depending on the tuner you may need to get the support tool and cable for th
  22. I take it you like it in the ass? I was only paying £1100 at your age.
