  1. Well I'm waiting on something that was posted last tuesday second class and still isn't here.
  2. Yes he's talking out his arse, it may give a little more lag but will be better overall.
  3. Emanage blue will be fine for upto 250bhp, the ultimate has more features and can do a finer tune but the blue is still good, I'm running it and putting out 190bhp on the stock ct9. Its very good for the price as long as the person mapping it is good too, thats whats more important.
  4. I doubt you'd see much difference from one to the other if both were pre-mapped for the same sort of mods as you have. They work best without a fuel regulator as they are normally mapped to work with the stock one. The JAM seem more comon than the blitz but the blitz still aren't that rare, the sard one's are though. The best one you can get will be the one which you know has been mapped to work with the modifications which you also have on your car, but it can be hard to find out what they were originally mapped for.
  5. Cheers sparky, the colour is really nice, its pretty dark and deep out of the light but then in the light it really sparkles.
  6. Lol Yeah I had to cut the stud and nut off the old block and haven't got another nut since, just laziness! I'm gonna take the mani back off again soon anyway to recoat it so I'll find one then.
  7. Cheers mate, I'm pretty chuffed with it myself. Makes a big difference under the bonnet.
  8. With the recent work I've done on the exterior and more so the interior the engine bay has started to look a little sad for itself and is letting the rest of the car down. So its time to start tidying it up, the obvious thing to start with is the rocker cover, since I had cleaned and polished it up before with it then quickly corroding again, I deceided to paint it this time and its not hard to guess what colour I chose.... Firstly I polished the rocker up again (very slow process by hand with steel wool, hence why its not perfect): Then on with the chosen colour: However the blue on
  9. Yeah I was confused when I was putting them on, was like where does this one go?!
  10. Yup they arrived today, cheers, even got a free bonus nut!
  11. Noice, looks ready for some track action. Good spec list to build on, I particularly like the headlight spoilers. Oh and the fact it still has part of the rear bench even though its stripped everywhere else?! Very mean looking head on though, good luck with it.
  12. Good stuuf, thanks again, excellent service.
  13. Sounds awesome Geo nice one. I'd pretty much definatey be up for it, I just hope I have my handling sorted a bit more by then. Also April would probably be better since it might well still be snowy/icy in march.
  14. 14.5 psi is 1 bar to be more precise and so 12.5psi is 0.86bar, but the fuel cut level can vary slightly as its actually the map sensor voltage level which triggers it not the pressure, plus if your boost gauge isn't 100% accurate then its hard to say exactly when it occurs. Basically running 0.8bar should be ok, but as sparky said the colder denser air will increase the pressure and you'll be more likely to hit fuel cut, on the glanza's the engine management light should flash just before you hit it as a bit of warning, since its not good fof the engine to bouncing off it regularly. Also I w
  15. Silkolene XTR 10w-40 from opie oils, they're cheap with fast delivery and good to deal with. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-6314-silkolene...engine-oil.aspx
  16. Could be as simple as the turbo coming loose from the mani, or as jay said crack on the mani.
  17. If you need some wheels quickly and cheaply there's lots of choice on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-4x100-114-100-plu...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-4x100-114-100-plu...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4x-15-valbrem-4x100-...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-Alloy-wheels-for-...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-4x100-team-dynami...id=p3286.c0.m14 etc etc
  18. No, I wouldn't be wanting to run those tires over the winter, unless you want to be visiting the hedges and ditches of chester's countryside.
  19. As long as they have the correct depth yes. Bear in my mind they are track biased, so they are a soft compound rubber which will wear quickly and also need more temperature to provide proper grip. They also don't like standing water and in winter won't get upto temperature properly so won't grip. I wouldn't advise using them in an everyday car.
  20. They are road legal yes. They are obviously track biased rubber and won't be much fun in the wet but are legal, same as the toyo R888's - http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?pli.../15,_165/50_R15
  21. Hi mate, Can I order a set of these too, 5 nuts and 5 washers.
  22. Yeah its not a bad price then, it takes a 2-3 hours to change the clutch so a fair amount of labour.
