  1. I had my doubts that Glock genuinely lost the place to Hamilton but this is probably the best fact to prove otherwise: The final lap times: P5 - Hamilton - wet tyres: 1.26.126 P6 - Glock - dry tyres: 1.44.731 P7 - Kovalainen - wet tyres: 1.24.945 P8 - Trulli - dry tyres: 1.44.800 So Glock was actually quicker than his team mate in the same car and with the same tyres on in the final lap, that pretty much proves he didn't let Hamilton pass him. Hamilton thoroughly deserves the championship and he is the best driver out there imo, well done to him.
  2. Go on then! I better wipe my feet on the way in....
  3. No, but he is ginger! ;) ;)
  4. No it will be better for the engine because its less restrictive so there won't be the same heat build up.
  5. Cheers Si, I am actually that fussy that I wanted the lights to match, glad you noticed! My main criteria when buying that stereo was that it had to light up green as I'd planned on getting the defo din gauge for a while now! Oh and Defi's FTW!!!
  6. Cheers akki and Joz so am I!! Sparky they didn't cost too much, I got them for a very good price anyway. I love them though, neat as you say, I didn't want gauges all over the place so these are perfect.
  7. Looking good mate, I'm really jealous of the fenders. I'll have to get a pair of chu eventually. Hope you get your TC bits soon, and maybe the other bits too.... ;)
  8. Cheers mate, it was 2 months in China, a month in South Korea and another month in Japan. I picked up a bit of the language but not much really, justthe bits needed to get by in each country ie hello, bye, thanks and how to order food, drink and bus/train tickets etc I certainly couldn't hold a conversation!
  9. Cheers guys and yeah they took ages to upload! Geo I've started adding a bit of a description to each photo so should answer your question.
  10. Since my old engine expired with me still not knowing the exact cause, I thought it would be a good idea to keep an eye on the new engine's vital statistics. So around the time the new engine was being fitted I bought a lovely set of defi gauges off the yahoo auctions (thanks to Rick) and they finally arrived (not thanks to royal fail) , they're Defi Din Gauges which display the water temp, oil temp and oil pressure whilst fitting neatly above the single din stereo, they also match the defi boost gauge I already have..... The oil temp and pressure sensors aren't fitted yet hence the strange readings in the last pic. My interior is now pretty much finished and how I want it to be, bar the addition of a matching Defi EGT gauge which will be added later. So next I'll be tidying up the engine bay a little more and sorting the handling further.... once I 've bought a new battery that is, since the addition of the new gauges seems to have killed off the old one!

  20. Right I've finally got round to sorting through the 4000 odd photos from my travels in Asia earlier this year. I went off in March with the girlfriend to Hong Kong first, then meandered up through China hopped on a ferry to South Korea randonly dotted about there then got another ferry (well hydrofoil) over to Japan travelled about there then finally flew home. We spent 2months in China then a month each in Korea and Japan. It really was an amazing experience and one I'd definately recommend everyone to do, it really does open your eyes to things. Everyday was like an adventure not knowing what we were gonna do/see/eat/sleep etc etc I really miss being away and doing different things everyday and not knowing where your gonna be, I can't beleive it was only a few months ago that I was seeing all the amazing sites and meeting new people and trying so many different things, remembering it all now it really feels like it was just something I watched on TV, anyway pics.... First off Hong Kong: This was one of our first nights in Hong Kong, it was taken on Lama Island alittle island reached by ferry with no cars on it and a very small population, the main attraction is the amazing fresh seafood and this was the view we had whilst enjoying our dinner! This is just a random tall building that looked cool! The entrance to Ocean Park, an aquarium merged with a theme park, awesome by the way! The view from a rollercoaster at Ocean Park, not taken whilst I was on the ride though!
