  1. Yeah its not bad since it comes with the lightened flywheel, but it needs to as the rest of the clutch is pretty heavy. Oh and I only paid £200 for mine!
  2. It certainly looks exactly the same, I'm going to need to change the friction plate on mine soonish and I'm gonna put the orc one in for the 309 so I'll see if its the same then. There's not that much info on the blitz one but I'd say its the same.
  3. NO!! You lengthen it to reduce boost. Its also probably best to remove the arm from the waste gate flap then change the length if you're not doing it that way.
  4. It changes gear nice and snappily now, like you can feel it really grab the next gear quickly as you change but its still reasonably smooth. It does feel slightly keener to rev now with the reduced mass of the clutch assembly too. Its definatley useable as an everday clutch though, the way it was before I adjusted it properly was how bad I expected it to be but its now its fine, although I haven't really done much heavy traffic/stop start driving with it yet. Are you looking at getting the orc version? As the blitz one seems the same but just more expensive because of the name! Being stuck in an overdraft is what happens when you travel around the world, so its kinda worth it!
  5. I'm finally happy with the car! Wahay! Well the clutch was slipping under any significant load, ie going uphill or trying to overtake, so I decided to re-bleed the cutch and adjust the pedal again and now its completely sorted! Previously I was having to give the car 3k revs to pull away smoothly, at least 3k revs any time I wanted to change up smoothly and I was having to heel toe on down shifts every time (again to get it upto 3k revs) for smooth downshifts, I couldn't even use engine braking in the slightest or the car would judder so much it felt like it was pulling itself apart. Basically I was having to drive everywhere like I was in a race, which was becoming a little tiresome, especially when the clutch would then just start slipping. Now though it's like someone has put the stock clutch back in, the pedal is actually lighter than before, I only need between 1.5 - 2k revs to pull away smoothly and can change up or down when I want and use engine braking when I want, I just assumed the 3k revs needed everywhere were normal for the clutch, but now the only difference from stock is when pulling away and the rattle! I'm so much happier now! I've got a couple of little bits on the way but I won't be doing any more significant mods for a while as I'm moving into a new flat and need to get out my overdraft for good this time! But atleastI can finally enjoying driving the glanza for a while....I hope!
  6. I think, it would be pointless, one is enough on a 1.3.
  7. Hmmmm I didn't use adhesive or loctite on mine, just did them in sequence and rft.
  8. LOL!!!!! Kouki just means its a late spec. Kouki is like the jap word for after and zenki is for before.
  9. Leave the one's on the back and just give the side's a good polish where the original stickers were, then you won't be able to tell they were ever there.
  10. The whales penis or the induction kit??
  11. So old, I knew what it was as soon as I started reading it.
  12. What rays?
  13. !!!! WELCOME TO THE SITE MATE!!!! Are you as hot as minxy?
  14. Yup his user name is StarletGTTurboBristol or something like that! Also that was like a year ago when his car was like that, the engines in a new shell now!
  15. Yeah it'll wire in fine, they're universal. The extra harness's listed above aren't completely necessary but give more adjustability when mapping and hence will give a better map overall.
  16. The turbo will still be spinning but the positive pressure its generating will just be leaking out, it probably sounds different because its a different pipe thats popped off. From what you've described I'd guarantee its an intercooler pipe or hose that has come loose or got a hole in it.
  17. One of the intercooler pipes has popped off.
  18. Elephant won't insure you with a fmic never mind a td04, so if you do get insurance you won't be able to do your td04 and have it covered properly.
  19. Wait there I'll just go get my violin out.....
  20. Nice! My Dad's got a similar thing - a Fisher Fury with a Honda Fireblade engine, its pretty mental.
  21. Cheers sparky. It was over 10k last year, its probably around 12k with buying the car the repairs and mods. I'm too scared to work it out exactly! If it wasn't for all the repairs it would be a complete weapon anyway!

  23. Nope the reflets have been there for aaaaaaaaages. Cheers mate.
  24. A little update for today, I thought I'd better give the car a bit of a wash since its running again and since its not been washed in 6 months! Just as I'd finished washing it a courier arrived witha nice item.... my new glanza s bonnet, thankfully it didn't get bent (too badly) enroute either. So I fitted that quickly along with some bonnet raisers from carter to help with the cooling. Thanks to Akki for it and Idrees for spraying it: Also a bit of a spot the difference on the rear, anyone guess what it is?:
