Its connected to the hand brake so that when the car is left runnig and you walk away from it if someone was to try and take the car and put the hand brake down the engine will cut out so it cant be took

Hmm the jam ecu souldnt affect anything with the turbo timer..Like you say it could be a wire loose somewhere have you had the plastics off around the ignition barrel ect? could be something in there! also check the wire that go's to the hand brake!!!

Not sure what mpg i got out of my n/a but it was shit lol get well more out of the glanza.
