  11. all depends on the area you live imo, i live near a quarry so there is loads of fine dust and grit on the roads, i ran my hybrid setup meshed, took tiny little nicks out of the blades, that was using a fine mesh, any finer and it would have been more restrictive than a relocated filter, the noise is something else though
  12. Dave was killed in a bike accident dude and they have been closed since and not sure when/if they will bopening again
  13. Scat rods need notching dude same as both sets,in you firat post as they are just a copy of scat rods you cant go wrong wit max speeding dude ive used them in the past and are easy to deal with all these rods are made in the same factory and that is a fact, the tmd ones max speeding rods, all the ones you see on fleabay etc. I know this as we will be stocking the same ones at some point thos year but alot cheaper than advertised
  14. Yup is fine dude. Some of them have had a clearance issue on th cam cap think it was just the odd 1 or 2 but to save anybody beong inconvienienced that are yet to fit them we will be exchanging them
  15. Right some off the cam pulleys fit(ie bens pulley) some do no not , ive had the rest of my stock machined for a little more clearance and will be picking them up monday. To confirm the rest of the pulleys fit although you may need to take a touch off the rear of the alyernator.pulley again thos will be down to the type of alternator you have. Once I have the cam pulleys back on monday I will do a recall on ones that are yet to e fitted and thn pm each individual to sort out exchange
  16. @ dj_rix they will need macining on the back. Im having a load done to exchange with people so they are right @ russleh ill do an illustration with paint to explain what I mean later. @ iddy that pulley is weird, never seen anything like that before.
  17. Like ryan said dude that pulley is the wrong way rou.d. You could have just swotched the belts rather than buying new
  18. Small one on the outside dude and by notch I take it you mean keyhole
  19. iddy can you post a picture of the pulley fitted as the correct way is larger side of the alternator pulley closest to the engine and smaller side on the outside, you havent got it on the wrong way have you or am i reading it wrong as your the first person who has had issues with them. with the alternator simon we had them made and tried some on an alternator i had hear but like you say there are a couple if different types of alternators in the way of how they are wired in, we thought the shaft and the pulleys were all the same though, but a simple enough fix:) also it was stated in the oriuginal thread that the waterpump pulley was for bolt on pump which is the oem version i believe, i think the press type pumps were something that was developed at a later date as a replacement part as oppose to being fitted as standard or so toyota tell me russleh there was a mistake in the machining on we believe 20 pulleys if you look at the back of the cam pulley where it sits close to the cam cap there should be a small resess to allow for the cam cap, some of them have already been fitted and work fine and others have benn fitted and not be able to turn as a result, im in the process of sorting out some of the ones i have left over to make sure they fit 100% and then will get them exchanged with the people that bought them if that makes sense
  20. Did you get yours from ryan^^^?
  21. Quite a few lads already have them fitted and running guys. Only trouble we have had is with the cam pulleys which im picking up fdom the engineers on monday morning and will get pms out to those that have them As far as cthe auxilary pulleys go they werd made from oem spec. Will dig out the tech drawings later
