  1. iddy can you post a picture of the pulley fitted as the correct way is larger side of the alternator pulley closest to the engine and smaller side on the outside, you havent got it on the wrong way have you or am i reading it wrong as your the first person who has had issues with them. with the alternator simon we had them made and tried some on an alternator i had hear but like you say there are a couple if different types of alternators in the way of how they are wired in, we thought the shaft and the pulleys were all the same though, but a simple enough fix:) also it was stated in the ori

  3. Quite a few lads already have them fitted and running guys. Only trouble we have had is with the cam pulleys which im picking up fdom the engineers on monday morning and will get pms out to those that have them As far as cthe auxilary pulleys go they werd made from oem spec. Will dig out the tech drawings later

  7. chuck it in 5th and floor it. if the clutch is slipping the revs will climb and the car wont go anywhere. dont suppose you have any pics of said clutch when it was out do you. also what clutch are you running ;)
  8. yeah clamps be fine mate just make sure they are all nice and tight
  9. pur the brace back on and all will be well. the top bar whoch the latch is attached to flexes quite a bit when not supported which stops the bonnet closing
  10. if you want to fit quad light you need to cut round the light area on the feont as ep80s have ttje same front end as mk1 gts

  15. the new core is longer in overall length, original hdi cores had angled inlet and outlet. they are the same depth and height though.
