no rear discs? yellow drums? Glanza S has discs isnt it?
-
That rust is crazy, good to read you sorted it out! i really love the red carpet, if you hear: that car has a red carpet its like: wtf why? then when you see this it looks lush!! can't wait to see the reclining seats!
-
will be checking the harness yes... probably something to do with that..

ok guys bumping this. i must have fucked up something with the wiring cause when i turn the ignition nothing happens. Now here is the really strange thing.. when i turn off the ignition my ebc control unit blinks for a second and the gauge does a full sweep... anybody a clue? did i switch some wires?

well deserved, congrats!

dont worry about any play man, i got mine for close to 2 years now and no play at all, fixed or adjustable are both just as good. very solid indeed!

big prob with the starlets is they really got their good p/w-ratio due the the low weight. So having 4 people in a starlet or 4 people in, for instance, a Lan-EVO makes a big difference. thats why i am seriously thinking of loosing the rear seating, just so not more than one passenger can come along each time i go out for a spin
-
ow crap, sorry mate, will transfer money right now!
-
I stripped out the rear just this weekend. the rear seating doesn't weigh that much, si i put it back in, 2 bolts ftw! having chucked out the spare wheel +board+parcel shelf does make a nice difference i must say. especially going round corners the ass feels much lighter and happier to follow round. Thats about the pros, the biggest drawback is the noise, i got a emptied out HKS dragger muffler and it gets on my nerves sometimes taking the stuff out is so easy, just give it go and see if you like it

nanglebadger, firstly you car is stunning.. end of discussion. secondly i can sooooo relate to all what you say. for instance the fact that the N/A has it's charme to and it's not easy to say goodbye. I drive in my ex-starlet once in a while and it'still is a blast to drive in. brings back so muhc memories! Also the fact that putting a fte in your own car is so much more meaningfull in a way of forfillment and it being you OWN car/creation. I would have liked to go that road but i didn't have the balls.... and finally that times driving your N/A, and knowing that the turbo-power is coming,

ow hell that is tasty!!! really gives an good idea on what to expect when on a certain p/w ratio. IMPRESSIVE G-man!! but strangely it doesn't seem to line out propperly the fruther i scroll down (prob to do with UKSC star) still its an awesome list!! i say: ADD LIGHTNESS.. ENJOY MORE better braking/handling/acceleration/mileage *runs of to chuck everything out of the car* P.S. liking the icons in the left bar

Some basic math: mint red V + 98 spec bumper + lip + white wheels = DROOOOOL
-
yay then i am kind of lucky i pulled out my non working turbo timer and found it had a harness at the ignition wiring. so i don't have to split wires or anything, i can use the wires running of that harness thanks for the confirmation dominidon. What a wonderfull and helpfull forum this is!!!! REP TO ALL OF YOU!!

Sparky those pictures rock! really this is one clean mean GTT, and taking it out to the track is the best!

lol, ok i will watch out for that about the electronics, i need to run the wiring from my EBC to the gauge from the gaue i then run the samtype wire to the car electrics. it says in the installation guide i only have to hook up a power source... shouldn't i hook up power source+ignition+ground? so yellow + blue + green?
-
Hi guys, got a HDI Dual EBC from Dane-SPS. the instruction manuel seems to be clear and i think i will do ok. But just wondering if any of you have experience with it and maybe have some pointers in general for fitting a EBC. thanks for the info. Kevin
