Thanks for those patient and those who helped me out today you know who you are. Good news, I believe the engines fine, I believe the noise was the crack in the head blowing through, because te only noise I'm now getting is out of the head there and it's blowing through there like mad, so much so that I can only get 0.5 bar of boost, bout 3 miles before igot home I decided it's driven 150 miles with no problems so the only test will be a foot down, hammered it through the gears several times and no knocking, so I think I just need to get the head off and have that area welded up then the front face on the head skimmed
