  3. Had a little play with my standard recirc today, just to see where everything goes etc, as ive got a Blitz on order.. Just wondering, the bit if tube that comes off the standard IC pipe onto the recirc valve.. will that fit the Blitz, or do i need a bigger bore tube? Reason i ask is i might order a Samco reducer to fit with it and make it look a bit nicer.. just need to know the bore size needed for the Blitz BOV.. Cheers, Chris.
  4. What mods are done to it mate? Standard high boost is 9psi and with basic breathing mods (exhaust, air filter, FMIC) it shouldn't creep past fuel cut levels (12.5psi).. Someone correct me if ive got this wrong.... Main issue is after the above mods, boost is increased to 12psi with an adjustable actuator, however with the stage 1 mods, especially is the cold weather (denser air etc) the car will more than likely creep up that measly .5psi and hit fuel cut. In that instance i personally would use an FCD, just a failsafe.. it's not as if you're running a bar of boost (14.7psi) where the fuell
  5. I think it's risky using a FCD etc instead of a new ECU to run at a bar, due to innaccurate fuelling.. But i reckon if you're running stage 1 mods.. full exhaust, air filter, actuator set at 12psi then an FCD would be very useful if and when the boost creeps past the set 12psi to fuel cut (12.5psi?)...
  6. Yeah in the near future
  7. Anywhere make replicas?
  8. Do Toyota sell painted optional lips?
  9. Depends on alot of things mate, where you go, how much prep work is needed etc... You'd only get very rough prices asking others, bets thing to do is ask around a few locals bodyshops and get quotes..
  10. Falken ZE912 over Toyo's anyway.. from personal experience..
  11. Can i ask the wheel and tyre sizes of your old wheels dude?
  12. Funny thing is, driving at night with sidelights and fogs on, they dont even light up the road in front of you properly light headlights do.. so there is no point at all..
  13. Guys, what's the difference between those 2 pics? I know the boost restriction is still on (ive bypassed mine already) but does it make a difference which of the solenoids tips you connect the longer tube to? IE. would there be any difference between running in those 2 variations?
  14. Vinyl plates are now illegal. and yeah the fine went up from £30 a plate to £60 a plate a few months ago. It's really strict now, has to be proper reflective plastic (or metal but thats still a grey area) with the BS mark and postcode of the place that made the plate. Has to be on the 'furthermost forward point as possible', ie. the front bumper on most if not all cars.
  15. In 90% of cases i think i'd go for an EVo over a Scooby.. You could get a decent Glanza for around that price easily though..
  16. Pretty much yeah Front lip yeah, im not over keen on the rear lips, i'd like a Livesports rear spolier though
  17. Oh ar and it's got factory arm rest and cup holders lol, need to check if it's got an LSD.. y'never know...

  19. Honda's are known for having soft paint, so if it's fading you'd have to be careful if you were to machine polish it.. Your best bet is to give it a hand polish with something like Autoglym Super Resin and see how it comes up.. If that does the trick then get it waxed up and keep on top of it
  20. Cheers guys, proper bargain to be fair, im chuffed with it.. Plans are boost gauge and blowoff valve asap.. then probably antilift kit and rear ARB.. then wheels and tyres and start the stage 1 mods..
  21. Hey guys, finally making a thread! Well i'd decided to sell the Polo up after about 16 months of ownership and get something quicker.. i got bitten by the Jap bug and decided to look for a Glanza as I've always liked them.. Totally standard, immaculate condition, 52k miles, FTSH, full T&T, Toad cat 1 etc... picked it up from Bristol tuesday night, now I've gotta wait til 18th Dec to insure it lol... Gave it a good clean, full interior and engine bay detail and basic wash (snow foam, 2 bucket method etc..) Also derestricted the boost as soon i got it home.. More mods to co
