  5. Haha, is it the one off ebay that I sent you? If it is thats the one I offered to pick up and help fit lol. And yeah a meet sounds good matey, be nice to finally put a name to a face D
  6. Ouch lol, think i'll wait for a set to come up. I've already got 98 spec rear lights, I just remember reading somewhere that the screw locations were different for the lenses between the 96 and 98 spec. Thanks matey D
  7. Lots and lots of bubble wrap lol. When i've always sent them i've done a few layers of bubble wrap, broken up some boxes so I can wrap it round to support the bumper then lots of tape. That way, if anything happens in transit, the courier can take the blame. D
  8. Most turbos this age will pass oil through the seals. D
  9. Does anybody know how much these cost or can they be bought from Toyota? I've got a 98 spec glanza, would the lenses be a straight swap? If anybody has a set for sale or swap lemme know! Thanks D
  10. Bes to be sure of the problem matey. Known people spend £100's trying to sort a problem just by guessing at the problem. If it needs a few little bits you may aswell replace it at the same time. Silly little things like bushes and ball joints are pennies to replace and always make an improvement D
  11. Might also be worth adding, the bolts that hold the rack sometimes sheer. It happened on mine after I drove into a rather large pothole And the track rods are available. Or they were last time I checked lol D
  12. Don't see why not, they're only electric pas, the rest is still a normal steering rack, have you checked all the usual suspects? Wheel bearings, track rod ends, track rods, perhaps even the universal joint between rack and column? D
  13. Thats the first i've heard of it lol. It's just a ball joint, it will have only worn down enough so that there's play. Cant see it doing any damage bar to itself D
  14. How can changing the track rods themselves do any damage lol? D
  15. Have you checked the track rods themselves? D
  16. Is it not the steering column? Thats what usually goes. It did on mine lol D
  17. Another white 98 spec? I'm painting my fucker pink lol! Nice wheels by the way, D
  18. Haha, I'll be selling springs/shocks together, all new less than 3 weeks ago. Car will be on coilovers for next year. What bits did you pick up from sheffield? D
  19. Get some Tein Springs Charlotte. They give a nice sensible drop and feel great without sacrificing comfort. I've a set on my glanza and never have any clearance issues at all. Keep an eye out for a set. Or wait till after christmas and i'll have mine for sale lol D
  20. Yeah thats what he told me. Its definitely a nice car. Would have bought it but I wanted a standard one lol D
  21. Glad to see the cars got another chance! Lovely turbo lol, too clean to fit to a car lol D
  22. Yeah he seemed nice enough, he didnt seem to know much about the car which I wasnt keen on, but thats just me being fussy lol. And yeah it wasnt mentioned in sales add. And it was about 3 hours from me. The one I bought I had to fetch from brighton lol. And is it that much lol? Mines only £902 a year! D
  23. Haha, its the only thing that put me off, didnt know if it had some sort of bump on that corner. Just didnt fancy the trek down to find out it had. Glad its gone to a forum owner though lol D
