easy enough mate . as idrees said youd be better to take the box out 2 since 2 of the mounts are on it . if ya know your way about the bay and just a case of unplug ( take pictures of busy areas ) and then swap and plug in again

well how close are your normal wheels to the coilovers if a 5mm spacer takes it to about the same as that then it should be fine just dont have the wheels sticking out the arches ( not that 5mm would do that ) not as if the wheel has much movement towards the coilovers so should be ok imo

and yeh your clocks will go to 180mph but will still say kmh at the bottom edited to add this. if you do want to change your clocks just multiple the km by 0.62 to get the miles but if ya go onto google and type in km to miles it will give a calculator to do it for ya.

yeh just a wee bix thing. take cable out of gearbox put it into converter put converter into gearbox the same was as cable was and job done. just take note of the number of km's because anything after that will be in miles.

have a good scout about you never know what youl find. my mate just bought an alfa 156 yesterday for 350 with 60k on it and a electrical problem with the auto gearbox pump. its mint. ya could be just as lucky. sucks when stuff like that happens to your car at the only time ya have no money.

depends on the situation. if it was just coming out of a town changing from 30 to 60 and you were already doin 50 they might hammer ya but if it was a fairly straight bit they might have been enforcing the 60. depends on the mood of the officers also. i know if i come out of a town and see it changin to 60 i usually speed up before hand

for parts have a look at all the traders on here. my bottom end cost me bout 200 for rings and bearings for big end main and thrust washers. get a compression test and that should make anythin cylinderwise clear.

is white smoke not coolant. blueish for oil and black for fuel

describe your problem a bit more mate and im sure people will be able to help. i had a knackered piston and piston ring and there was loads of oil coming out the rocker breaker ( was gonna post a pic bnut photobucket is not my friend :harhar: ) burning oil and smoking tho soulds more valve related i think tho but im not the clued up. i just know burning oil and smoking are usualy valve stem related. and whether you need a new engine or not is really a matter of if you have time to rebuild or fix the bits that may be broken.
