ofcourse 2 annoying drips though. 1 of oil coming from the turbo oil feed bolt but i think its because the washers sitting on a half painted surface so need to clean that up and a random coolant drip every few mins so ill get a look under before japfest. ill need to run it in untill i get there and probs more tho lol. is there a set way to run it in or just drive carfully. i havent went over 3k so far and its doin wonders for full lol just past 1/4 tank and 135 miles . n thats including the big spray of wasted petrol i got when someone forgot to tighten the fuel rail bolt gary has told

you could get it powdercoated but makes the rising sun thing a bit more difficult lol ya can get vht paint in red and white off ebay. the stuff i got was kinda matt finish tho so got some vht laquer aswell sorted it out.

had to wait a month on bottom end bearings which was a bit of a joke. it doesnt amuse me when companys advertise things as if they have them then when you order and pay ya get the usual email saying that they have to order them then wait before they send them to you. i mean i could do that.

use a stanley knife to pop the centres out. thats what i did as with a screw driver ya end up juat squashin them where ae ya gonna get a little bung for the hole from ? i bought one from 200sxjay off here because he done his but it didnt fit mine and im stuck where to get them. once the linings off its just 3 10mm bolts

yeh they acl bearings. i put the middle cap on with arrow pointing toward timing side them put the other caps on starting 1 from the timing side so that all the numbers were facing the same way. thats the right way isnt it ? only thing i could think of was how theres a small step in the block for the cap to sit into , the caps dont sit right in that untill i tighten them which would kinda squash it making it tight on the crank but i have 2 sets of caps and they both the same so im stuck.

basically i finally recieved my bearing and fitted them to the block and main caps. crank turns fine when its sittin in the block and when the caps are placed on top but when the caps are tightened so just enough that both ends are flat on the block ( just a little past finger tight ) it wont turn anymore. on the packs of bearing it says suited for toyot 1e , 2e. is that my problem or are they the same as 4e. japfest doesnt look promising :harhar:

well you muat have boost if its able to dump just doesnt sound like its got enough give left to get into proper boost. change the plugs n leads mate and see. i have found by speaking to a few mates when i have problems that the ones that say oih its definatly this are usually wrong could just be my mates though even just take the plugs and leads out n have a look at them.
