Should be good. I've not been to japfest for years

I've had dodgy thermostats and I've never had the temp shoot up. Normally the opposite won't get warm air, and temp gauge doesn't rise

Looking good dude Where did you get the hose kit bud?

If we need external wast gates to manage higher boost pressures maybe it's a sign to get a bigger turbo. Shows the compressor side maybe able to deliver the mass flow requirements but the turbine side is mis matched to what people are trying to run :-) I realise bigger turbos mean more money, but do toyota not have anything in their catalogue with a slightly bigger turbine housing to aid the flow, this could help reduce the compressor pressure ratio (ie run less boost, this will in turn lower the COT and bring the the compressor side back into the efficiency island). Just a thought folks :-

What turbo timer is it? Im only in Huddersfield if you need a hand.

DIY the ecu handbrake bits are optional. Just so it can shut the car down if the handbrake is dropped and the auto function can monitor and set the time according to running conditions

Morning chaps as I think mine is on the way out, and am not sure how far I am taking this car. Has anyone got a WORKING CT9b actuator they want rid of?
-
Well chaps I woke up this morning and went shopping and found a load of yellow "bird droppings" on the roof. Thought nothing of it (apart from B****rd birds lol). Anyway when I came to wash it off (with a hose) my paint lifted and its still stained the roof. Excuse the poor pics its hard to capture (but you can see it in the flesh). Now is it bird mess, or do we think someone has thrown nitromors/brake fluid over the roof?

Right then. Tried a few things. Bypassed solenoid still 13psi Borrowed a mityvac off a chap in work tonight and pumped the actuator to 9psi wastegate opened held, pumped it to 15 psi held open fine. So doesn't say actuator to me. Any ideas chaps?

Check for fault codes, I have had something similar on my Impreza and Glanza previously. Impreza turned out to be loose cam sensor so check yours is connected properly/ not broken (i.e a fault code). My Glanza did it with both air intake, and water temp sensors goosed (again check for fault codes on them or check continuity) Must add if the cam sensor is just loose you wont get a code. Maybe youve disturbed an already weak wire/connector on something.
