This is so sad, I always get my service parts from TM-D and Dave was such a nice guy to deal with. So pleasant and helpfull and even offered top mounts out his own pocket when the dampers he sent me through another company due to him being out of stock didn't fit my car...not many people would have offered that. A seriously top car enthusiast and all round gentlemen, im sure he will be sorely missed by many people. My heart goes out to his family/friends. -
I once had a similar issue with my old nova, might be totally different problem but worth a check. My alternator voltage regulator went and it caused the battery to over charge, which would stop the car starting at random times and also quite a few times once I'd been driving and turned the engine off. Used to have to wait a good half hour or more untill it would fire back up. Get a multimeter if you can and check the voltage at the battery, if it's kicking more than 12v with good revs then i'd consider checking further down that route.

Bit of a side note here (sorry to thread pinch!) but im also looking for a set of 185/55/14 tires to fit my Wedsport RS-5 alloys and whilst searching spotted some guys actually stick 195/45/14 tires on there wheels and say they fit fine, also a better selection of tires through this option! Has anyone tried this or can shed some light on this? Would be helpfull to me and no doubt ASAD too

Has everyone on here got really well paying jobs........?

I get 3 gummy bears and a bag of roasted peanuts if I work hard...if I don't it's the the scrapings of old banana skins for dinner -
I sticker bombed mine, then the rain, the wind, the manifold burning the shit out of it ruined it. Pretty easy job, a couple awkward little bits that'll you'll probably attempt 3 times to get right. As Ollie says, spraying it a MUCH easier and in my opinion a better looking job if done with care and attention.

Kwik fit effed up my insurance on my old nove too, then cancelled at near enough half way through the year when the penny dropped my car was quite heavely modified, monkey junkers! Im with poopie insurance too, never had an issue personally and they offered the best price and most importantly the best cover with all mods declared.

Any uniques features that stand out mate? These things get stripped quick, if not something worse.

Think I may have found one, anyone know if this also applies to the greddy unit? http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...ia-map-sensor-* It's the same wire colours on the Greddy unit, just want to make sure it's the same before it goes in! Also if anyone knows a good live I can plum into without trailing the wire round that bay that would be ideal! Cheers
-
Hey guys, just got my Greddy BCC and was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or can shed some light on the installation. Does it have to go near the ecu or in the bay near the map sensor? I have looked to find out how to wire this into my V but it's not turning up much! Any help on where the wires go and best place to stick it would be great! Cheers!

I need to get some TD04 action in mine, or do I sell up and get the turbo'd ae86 my mates tempting me with...hmm
-
Tell me about it lol trust me it's not worth buying shit, you'll only have to do it again VERY soon...im sure other's will back me up on cheap gaskets causing headaches!

Check out the EP tuning store on here mate, Enzo is a good source for these kinds of parts. Also you could stick up a thread in the wanted section as I did for the very same thing not long ago. Another place can be found here, very reliable guy Dave... http://www.tm-developments.com/index.php?m...amp;cPath=31_32

They all crack mate, don't worry about it, seen a lot worse than yours! You'll be loosing boost through your blowing gaskets, get toyota one's as they are the best in my opinion and tighten the manifold up evenly. Should be running good as new after that ;)
-
That looks trully epic mate

1.2 is pretty fatal boost levels on standard mods ;)

I get this too, also on firefox...also can' create a new topic on firefox or reply unless using the 'FAST REPLY' option, have to use IE to create threads...gay
