lol at anti grinder gang. I dont know if the car will settle more. If not i will do what you just said to get it that little bit lower as im sure once ive stripped it out its going to raise up a little

i lowered the car today from the springs i got from stulet on here cheers buddy. Im not sure what springs they were of course being a 4wd it hasnt lowered the back much but its better then it was i also fitted my gt front headlights but the bumper isnt lined up properly for some reason i will fix it tomorrow.

im going to register my car as a gt because im going to fit the gt engine soon and ive got gt bumpers bonnet etc then insure it as a gt.

cheers dude All the suspension is now off and wired brushed and all cleaned up and ready to be painted tomorrow and fit the lowering springs

woohoo its now got 12months mot :D I will be off to the dvla on monday to get it registered

cheers mate Its getting there slowly it will be lowered this weekend i was too hungover last weekend lol. I will order my new clutch next week for my 4efte engine and then just need my td04 turbo kit

Well i dropped the car for mot last night but had a slight mishap on the way there i forgot to tighten the wheel nuts and the passenger side front wheel fell off lol lucky i was only doing 5mph. Well it failed the bloke on the phone said i need new fuel lines as there all fucked and leaking also failed on the windscreen wipers, When i got to the mot station i looked at the fuel lines and realized they wasn't that bad they just needed replacing from the fuel pump to where it joins at the bottom of the car. A bit of rubber fuel pipe later a little blood and going for a pint it was finished Its getting a retest in the morning as i didnt finish until half 6ish so its only cost me £15 to get it mot'ed :D i now have the customs paid duty form so im off to the dvla on monday to get the badger registered

Hello Ive tried looking on tgtt and couldnt find anything. Whats the best way of removing the standard ep*5 lump in regards to the 4wd system. Eg. Can i remove the standard lump with the gearbox in place? Or disconnect the prop shaft and pull the lot out? Im looking at doing the conversion asap and jus trying to find out as much as possible ;)

aye enzo called me about an hour ago and there's a company called rs*r that make lowering springs by the sound of it but we shall have to wait and see. But in regards to cutting the springs i will only lop a coil off nothing extreme its better then a hot rod styleee starlet

cutting the springs is only a temp measure until another solution is available
