im 99% sure the 4efte is a non contact engine so you wouldnt smash your valves up.

im loving that. Ive got a corolla t-sport same engine and thats goes bloody well and its quite a heavy car it would be mental in a little starlet

because the standard turbo sump doesnt fit because of the 4wd transfer box so you need to use the 4wd one. you can still use the turbo pick up its just the sump you need to change

i forgot to say you need a gt pump or you can an uprated pump and they petty much swap over.

here's roughly what you need. interior loom engine loom ecu poly bush engine mounts some kind of exhaust (im going for a front exit) front mount (until your getting a gt bonnet for the top mount) clutch standard manifold, ct9 coil and ignitor ps pump and lines, dissy etc i think thats about it.

well ive finally got my td04 rotated and what a fucker. I had to order some heavy duty set of circlip pilers because of the massive circlip on the back of the turbo. Its taken about an hour in all and had to be careful so i didnt damage the blades otherwise the turbo would be no good. Part of the turbo off. I need to get the internal wastegate flap welded shut at some point because im going to be running external wastegate. The part of the turbo with the massive circlip took about 20minutes to remove this fucker Left me with just the housing there was a little pin i had to remove o

i bought a massive set as well lol. They were delivered today it took me about 15mins to get that circlip out and about 30mins to put the fucker back in ;) at least it all sorted now

a tiny update ive now got myself a td04 i managed to buy on ebay it cost me £68 delivered Its only done 5k since being rebuild ive started to rotate the turbo but im waiting for another set of circlip pilers to be delivered because i broke my last set on the bif fuck off clip on the back

good work mate What external wastegate is that? Its not a cheap one from ebay is it? I hope not. Im liking the pink rocker cover but be careful on the filter as mine started to leak and fucked the paint on the rocker cover, p.s get some engine degreaser

thats rubbish mate. I didnt have my license as i changed the address i phone them up and ask what else i could do. They said bring your passport and a bill of some sort with your name and address on. I got the paperwork days 2 days later.
