my GT alternator has an oval plug dude

they are not the same, the snow edition glanza and GT alternators are slight different in size pulleys are the same, mounting points and adjuster is the same, plugs are the same only difference is size of the windings. they are a good half an inch longer in the GT alternator heres the difference. ran them both on my GT. right hand side is GT, left hand side is n/a

urmm not sure with a radar gun, but i saw on traffic police once that they clocked a lupo Gti at 140mph, and chased it afterwards pretty sure your allowed 10% of the speed limit+1 so 56 is the max you can get away with, although, my brother had a speeding fine for 34mph in a 30 you'll have to wait and see, but with it being a radar gun, id have thought they would have followed you

ive got one manifold all the way back, but i dont have the backbox, if you can collect you can have it for £30

the tyre size may give you problems, but width and ET may cause the wheels to catch the inner arch and possibly even suspension
