i'd say possibly not if the pad is a much different shape. the earlier EP91s had different calipers to the later spec ones (1998 onwards) which had the same calipers as the glanzas. for the price of EBC or even blueprint oem replacement pads i wouldnt be fitting pre-used pads anyways man. why bother. Phil.

my bad Gaz man, i misinterpreted what u meant. they should maybe be given ALL the facts before they sign on the dotted line, but then i guess, in any theatre of operations, the facts can change by the day or indeed by the hour. i nearly joined the RAF when i was younger, was offered Fighter Controller but turned it down. watching alot of the WW2 movies in all their gory detail, and having been to many of the French and Belgian (and even the odd German) site, I often wonder would I have been able to take it, to stick it, to keep going, to even put one foot in front of the other. I was at Pegasus Bridge again last year, the first place where the RUR landed in the gliders in the early hours of D-Day, and even looking at what they had to do simply as their first objective of the day made me think "yikes, could i have done this". I stood near Point Du Hoc (sp?) where the American Rangers had to climb the sheer cliff face on D-Day whilst under fire, and its nuts, there's just no way i'd have had the fortitude. That cliff is 100% vertical. thats why when i go to those places it strikes a deep chord of meaning for me. I find every site and every cemetery incredibly moving. And thats me just seeing the manicured, mowed lawn and planted flowers version of what those men went through, not the mud and bodies and craters. Then, being a member of the ATC here in NI, every year we would march with the British Legion and the army and sea cadets and BB to the cenitaph in Larne for the laying of wreaths for WW1, WW2, and all the actions, and a brother and sister from the town who lost their Police Officer father to the troubles here would also lay a wreath every year for their dad - this was something, as a cadet, that I was damn proud to be a part of. If all i can do is be silent for a few minutes a year, to go to Ranville cemetery up the road from Pegasus Bridge and lay flowers for a fallen friend of our family as well as for some poor fellow who simply has an Unknown Solider headstone so that someone shows they remember that unknown man's actions and appreciates their sacrifice when there is no one else to lay flowers for that person, to visit some of the sites and try to take some of it in and understand at least some of what those men went through, and to pay my respects at those sites and cemeteries scattered across remote fields of Normandy, then it is the very least I can do, and its something I hope that I will be physically able to do for many years, even when my parents are no longer able to go back over to Ranville to do it. My work did not observe a silence on Thursday, apparently they dont normally, and this is something that has annoyed me greatly. I may take it up with the HR department one day, but by fuck, next year I'll be making a point of observing it myself by stopping what I'm doing whether anyone else bothers or not. Phil.

and thats the benefit of UKSC, being free to openly express your opinions, so fair play to u Gaz sir. what i would disagree with is your comment that basic infantry men are thick, that, i will not agree with. I have friends in Afgan, and they are far from daft. however, it is not something i wish to debate. thanks for sharing your opinions gaz man! please feel free to continue the discussion folks, i like how it hasn't turned into a slag fest of any kind. Phil.

very well said Iddy. it is unfair to tar everyone with the same brush. Its easy to do, hell, its done over here depending on which religion u are raised, basic assumptions are made which are quite simply wrong and misinformed. im glad to see mature discussion on this matter in here guys, u are all doing urselves very proud. Phil.

i've just ripped HIDs out of mine. royal pain in the arse to align because they give shit all pattern, meaning MOT here in NI is a PRICK of a thing. i dont think im going to waste money on them again. @DavidAshton - i'm liking that ebay link dude, can i ask what kind of colour those bad boys are?? are they a nice bright white or what????? might get a set of those just to replace to OEM bulbs im running. Phil.

same with everything tho i guess. u get it everywhere, the minority give the majority a shit reputation and turn others against them at an undeserved general level. same with modded cars too - obscure comparison perhaps, but relative to us on here. but no one does anything about it, it goes unanswered and so it continues. sad infuriating cycle. Phil.

Remembrance day is a day of remembrance for all those who have paid the ultimate price for our country and freedom, be it WW1 WW2, the current actions and all those that lie in between, Falklands, the first Gulf War, Korea, all of them. it is by no means restricted to one particular event. Here in NI those officers of the RUC and the military who lost their lives here. 100% agree with Dan. if they feel so strongly against our country and culture, then why stay here. u dont like a movie, u get up and leave. do the bloody same. Phil.

i did a WW1 trip with school many years ago, Menin, Thiepval, Vimy Ridge, the Ulster Tower, and various sites in Belgium and eastern France. Then last year my dad and some friends and I went to Normandy for a trip to follow the paths of the Ulster Rifles on and after D-Day, i've been to most of Normany sites numerous times before on various trips and holidays, but this time we took the war diaries of the Rifles to trace their movements. Was really something. this trip also covered a large proportion of the War Graves in that part of France, and in particular we were helping a war author friend to compile a phto archive of all the your graves. We found a great many of them, but some of the engravings on some of the headstones were rather moving - such as single headstones to remember an entire tank crew. there are some truly moving sites to be seen even in these old cemeteries. Phil.

so, are we 100% telling me, that even tho my car is an airbag model, that all i need to make my Bride rep steering wheel fit to my car and have the horn working, is the badboy OMP hub in the link? ye? please note - the Bride horn button only has one wire on the back of it, not two like toms button Phil.

As you say, can't please everyone all the time. you dont think u should be questioned, fair enough. as admin i cant take that stance for myself or this turns into a dictatorship. i have no problem being questioned, if someone has a concern or a greivance my inbox gets hit everyday with problems that i resolve for people, so if such concerns relate to the running of UKSC by the team, then i will of course deal with any and all such PMs too. it creates a "fuss" with me because your saying i should have done this privately, yet there u were questioning me publically. but, its done. there's no point going over this again and again. ive explained myself, as have you. we dont agree. and you're not my biggest fan, which is grand. you've said before u dont like my attitude towards u and ive said before i dont like your attitude towards me. u might not think it a big deal, but as far as i was concerned, u questioned me infront of everyone which i didnt appreciate. im tryin to smooth things between the sites and felt it was somewhat undermined. ive tried other approaches over the years, this time a general announcement was required. one day i'll get it right. thread closed as it'll only run in circles. and is there a brass ring on the back of her or how exactly does it work dude?? Phil.

Disputes with another forum
Nanglebadger replied to Nanglebadger's topic in News & General Announcements
well you're the very boy who openly questioned how i dealt with an interforum matter infront of everyone, so yes, its aimed at you and anyone else who seems to disapprove of the way i deal with forum business. so, now that I have responded with the above comments, explaining WHY i dealt with it in the way I did, perhaps you wish to question it further? or perhaps, having read my explanations, you can see and comprehend my standing on the matter, and could perhaps infact agree with how i handled this. u dont like being told to grow a set? i dont like u calling me out infront of everyone over how i dealt with this matter above, everyone else seemes to have approved as they are sick of the "them and us" culture between the sites. u and i have been over this before, and I thought we had settled it. I've even spoken to a mutual friend who assures me u are a nice lad, if somewhat blunt. i made an announcement - you questioned it - i explained it and followed up by opening the floor to air any and all grievances or dislikings that yourself or anyone else may have about how UKSC is run by me or any of the admin team - got goose egg of a response - thought i'd offer it up once more before locking the thread, and here we are. i'm happy to bury this matter here and now if there are no complaints about how the palce is run, but i was questioned, therefore i feel it only fair i get to question in return. i appreciate that bad feelings between the two sites aren't exactly important to everyone, but from where i sit, i'd rather it wasn't an all out slag fest between TGTT and UKSC. Users will have their preferences of course, but as has been said numerous times before, we're all here for the same reason. Maybe someday TGTT and UKSC can be like me and Jay, where UKSC and TGTT meet in NI to form NorhtStars and we have massive guitar man love for one another, but if the best i can pursue right now if for a general peace between the two sites then that'll do nicely. there we go, I've even explained it twice now. Phil.
