  1. bump for liam... my car is an airbag model. so...what boss (other than that crazy expensive thing!!!) can help me fit my wheel? Phil.
  2. can't beat a good Dr Bob Kelso quote man..."Gutterball!" meh, cant please everyone all the time, but from the defence of the admin evident in this thread, obv we're not doing as bad a job as some folk think. Phil.
  3. hmmmm...the silence is deafening. i made an open invitation to grow a set and say your piece. yet, gutterball, tumbleweed, dust bunnies, zilch, nadda. so either your nuts havnt dropped yet, or when invited to stand up infront of the club and be heard, your opinion suddenly isnt so strong. would love to say im shocked... i now consider this matter put to bed and that in general most folk are supportive of the request, and also happy with the job admin are doing...but i'll leave it open a day or two yet incase some testicles are found lurking under the bed. Phil.
  4. i have checked the Interparcel website with the tracking number Paul has given me, it states that the parcel has indeed been collected but it gives no delivery status as yet. so, its in interparcel's hands end of. Phil.
  5. simply awesome man! Phil.
  6. i found the cluster bulbs to be bright as hell, it was great...for about 25 seconds lol. bulbs for steve...ebay/jay/etc/breakers/im near sure jay has some clusters lyin around. Phil.
  7. no. u see the black trim behind the steering wheel that leads to the cluster...like a black tunnel, with two screw in the top, remove that. once out u will see the exposed cluster. there are three screws, bottom left, bottom right, and top centre (this one should be gold in colour). remove these. the cluster is now semi-loose. u will need to wiggle it about to get your hand in. as u look at it, top right and top centre are two plugs in the back, these need pulled out. right in the middle of the rear of the cluster is the speedo cable itself, this too needs to be unplugged. the cluster should then come away. small girly hands are required. fact. lol. Phil.
  8. i just got an erection. fact. thats delicious dude! Rizla Suzi's are delicious! health to enjoy dude! Phil.
  9. two big plugs and the speedo cable to remove. bit of a tosser of a job, get someone with small hands man. Phil.
  10. addz - i havnt yet mate. what we ended up doing was soldering some wiring onto the copper tracking after we had burnt through it with the cluster LEDs lol, this acted as enough of a resistor to stop further burn outs. what i have done is bought another SR cluster as i couldnt find a part number for the circuit boards. so, what i will be doing is putting this circuit board onto the back of my current SR cluster and refitting the OEM bulbs. however, i will be replacing the OEM green silicone covers with these babies: ebay there are only 3 small and 2 large bulbs in an SR cluster and having looked in my sisters EP91, i'd forgotten just how bright they are. so, in short, after all these years of wasted money and burnt out circuit boards, £5 would have done the same job. dont use LEDs. they are fine for in behind the centre console as im also running them there, but NOT the cluster as they melt the copper tracking. also - for LEDs u cannot beat ultraleds.co.uk. they are EPIC. Phil.
  11. awesome colour. i have always said a stock 5 door one of these with an FTE would be the ultimate sleeper! also, remove the bump strips and get that thing properly polished and buffed! i bet the colour will really pop!! Phil.
  12. be careful with LEDs in your cluster, i have burnt out TWO of the circuit boards on the clusters using 5-cluster LED bulbs. my advice is to use single bulb LEDs, not the cluster ones. you WILL melt the copper tracking, trust me. nothing more disconcerting than seing a wee puff of smoke coming out of your dash! Phil.
  13. i believe T5 and T10 are correct yes as i have ordered some blue silocone bulb covers in those sizes. also, yes the small dash ones are indeed 501. Phil.
  14. so long as its only spray and not brush applied to the drums otherwise it'll fly off like happened to me years ago lol. lookin good broski! Phil.
  15. making the V RED TWO. i like it. its like Thunderbird 1 and Thunderbird 2. altho, the red V rising from the ashes and flames should be known as Project Pheonix! Or Project Pheonix Rising! Phil.
  16. lol also, red ranger would give wrong impressions over here. sad as that is, its a simple fact, u wouldnt want to be driving around here with Ranger on the side of your car. Phil.
  17. the Compomotives were 18s?? and the blue Leagues were 19s?? is that right?? i think thats right, maybe Sparky will remember, but obv Geo can confirm. Phil.
  18. track days wouldnt generate us any revenue tho as we dont own a track to rent out/charge for. all the money for that would go towards funding the track day. selling tax maybe aint a bad idea tho. Phil.
  19. lol that was epic G mate!!!! epic! Phil.
  20. yeah baby! but keep that to urself, i get big enough cues of women at the house, dont need it stretching out onto the main roads too!!! lol Phil.
  21. yikes, u make me sound like some big bad grumpy kaiser! lol. indeed, i have the tracker number, and i will track it online tomorrow, but right now i have no intention of ringing anyone as i have better things to do with my time...like...wash my hair. Phil.
  22. immense avatar, i'd like to see the extended version too! also, just spoke with Paul. I have the tracking number. There have been 3 failed collection attempts. Gina is at home all day tomorrow and there is another pick-up scheduled. hopefully they go this time. Phil.
