  2. since 2004 I havent seen a single one of those dash top boxes pop up for sale here or on TGTT, yet somehow in a matter of 2 or 3 months you have located 2 of them. I'm changing your username to Sherlock. Phil.
  3. serious amount of effort going into this project at the minute bud, kudos to you and all involved!!!! fingers are crossed for MOT for you! Phil.
  4. glad to hear you're back tinkering with it already! thats the spirit!!!! minty fresh front end is just what this motor deserves! Phil.
  5. damn thats nice!!!! lovely purchase dude! Phil.
  6. as said to Joel yesterday, really sorry to hear about this B. the main thing is that you and Joel weren't in the car, and that you's werent harmed by his behavior following the incident. Boys like that need a swift smack in the teeth. but the main thing is you're both ok and the car is in the best possible hands to be repaired and look better than it ever has!!!! as I said to Joel, if there's anything I can do to lend a hand, just shout! Phil.
  7. Update So, first there was the red 2006 1.9 Lusso, then there was the Stromboli Grey 2009 2.4 Tourismo, and now its a 2011 white 2.0 Ti Sportwagon. Some of those with a keen eye may recognise this motor from its previous owner....Mother Badger. Before that it was an Alfa UK car. Cheaper tax than the 2.4, much better mpg, far more practical for the dogs, much higher spec, and fuck me does it have road presence. Only owned it 5 days and I've been stopped by folk in the work car park to talk about it. Donnelly's kindly fitted some OEM optional extra rear mud flaps (fronts not compatible with the skirts) and I got the wind deflectors fitted as soon as I got home. It has an options list fitted thats the length of my arm, and I managed to score a free copy of the brochure from 2011 thats going for about £10 on the bay! Collection: Home: 19s and Brembos, daily: Wind deflectors: And a couple from when Mother Badger owned it: Phil.
  8. Just thinking over your last advice there Dale bud, I've always been an Autoglym user, its what my dad and bro use and I just followed suit and I have to admit I am a fan of their stuff and find it easy to use. Picked up some AG tar remover and a bottle of their Clean Wheels on Friday after work, I have the remains of some HD wax left and I have been reading up on their Aqua Wax on Detailing World as well as SRP Vs Ultra Deep Shine. I think for this white car, certainly initially anyway to see how it goes (if the weather would ever bloody improve here!!!) I will try a regime of SRP and HD Wax (as necessary), with routine top ups using the Aqua Wax, all applied by hand as I haven't exactly mastered the art of the machine! If I find the HD Wax isnt up to it, I will try something else once it runs out. there isn't much left anyway. Phil.
  9. ooh them seats!!! do want!!!! looks uber smart dude, liking the audi-coloured bits, think they go well with the wheels! keep it up sir! Phil.
  10. sounds good dude! Phil.

  14. Clearing out some bits and bobs belonging to both myself and Mark, located at GaragEP in Ballyclare NI and Ayr Scotland. Item For Sale: 15" OZ Titans Item Condition & Description: Used, in need of refurb and tires. These are a good solid wheel from a good manufacturer; they are noticeably lighter than Speedlines and are multifitment (fit Starlets with spigot rings provided). They've been rattle canned and a damage spoke smoothed with filler over the years so would benefit from a professional refurb. Price: £100 collected Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: Please PM for payment details. Collection only. Item For Sale: HKS radiator cap Item Condition & Description: Used but decent Price: £10 collected Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: Please PM for payment details. Phil.

  17. spot on bud thanks! really appreciate your input! think I'll request a quote for the bonnet and bumper of the daily, see what kind of money we're talking before considering what polishes / waxes etc to go for. Many thanks folks! Phil.
  18. lol its no bother, honestly. looking forward to seeing this new paint! Phil.
  19. spot on chaps, all sounds good. @ Dale - u mention wash, wax and sealing the clear bra - i assume you wouldnt use SRP / polish on it? The Poorboys I have is White Diamond. Phil.
  20. lol no worries B! looking good in that pic and nice Blitz parts! Phil.
  21. thanks for the replies gents, loks like I have some reading to do. Also going to check out the Mainz guys seeing as they are a trader, see what they have. Found someone local to work who applies the clear protective film to bonnets and bumpers - does anyone have any experience of using this stuff? I know Liam D had it on his sexy green N/A. Phil.
  22. Morning folks, This week I will be collecting my new daily chariot, and this one is a little bit more special than my past couple of dailies, better spec etc. She's white with anthracite powder coated (from OEM) alloys, 2011 so fairly fresh, and I'd like to get her gleaming as best she can, and also try and maintain that as best as possible. So, my question is, what products do you recommend for keeping a white car, white? My dad has given me a bottle of Poorboy's polish for white cars - I assume a good dose of SRP, followed by the Poorboys, followed by a wax or sealant would be best?? I'm almost out of Autoglym HD Wax, so I'll be in the market for something to wax / seal the paint if you can recommend something durable for a car doing roughly 90 miles per day? Also, can anyone recommend a good cleaner and/or sealant for the wheels? I dont want to let the brake dust build up in the recesses and then bed itself in or destroy the coating as has happened on my Speedlines as I never sealed them, so can anyone recommend anything tough and durable so that the dust / dirt will hose off? Also, if any of the Northern Ireland chaps read this, do you know of anywhere in NI that does the clear protective film wrap stuff for bonnets and bumpers? Price depending I would consider investing in that for her to keep the stone chips at bay. Never owned a white car before and dont want it to end up cream or brown, so any assistance is much appreciated folks. Cheers, Phil.
