Hi require a quick list of parts to turbo the 4efe I have the 3 plug ep91 ecu and a set of the green injectors from a supra spare 5ef-he wiring loom which is very similar to the 4efte really depends on when i can find a person localish to do the wiring on the full 5e conversion but in the meantime i am missing the good old boost ! shall i give it a go ?
  2. did car re-trimming along time ago, just search car retrimmers or auto vehicle upholsterers and give them a ring, you may need the trim code which wuill be on the chassis plate of the vehicle the seats came out off
  3. strange wanted ad but here goes.. basically have the 4efe uk 98 n/a and have the full 5ef-he engine loom and ecu wiring side of it i dont have a clue so need someone clued up with starlets to do the job. car is in manchester rather spend a little now then pay alot later and fry my ecu lol

  5. local garage shouldnt charge that much to do ar find a member on here local to you to do it for a fee, easy peesy job
  6. main benefit removing ABS ? Sure it weighs a few KGs But locking the wheels up on harsh braking is no good as well or am i missing something ?

  9. I checked my ecu, the numbers are different from the picture above the numbers on my ecu is : 89661-10180 211000-6570
  10. Hi chris, i have the full loom and all the sensors that came off the 5e and ignitor and coil, all still attached with all vac pipes, why not use it ? the loom and pins is really identical but just the 1 pin which the 4e hasnt got i nned to make it owrk on the 5e i thinks

Hi I am planning to do a conversion and drop a 5efhe into the ep91 uk 4efe non (acis) 5e ecu has on the 16 plug (pin 1) switched battery power (12v) the 16 plug on the 4efe wiring these is no switched battery power (12v) on the pin 1 surely some one has ran into this has the 4efte also has the switched.........(12v) I am guessing from other talk on this it has something to do with the dizzy coil, 4efe has internal coil and 5e has external coil maybe ? or does it have something to do with the efi relay ?

Hi I am currently collecting the bits to complete my project A 5e into the ep91 currently running the 4efe uk 98 model I will be using the 5e loom and 5e ecu all from a jdm sped car, no immobiliser my current car has the toyota factory immobiliser, is the key coded to the ecu ? what problems may i face if the 4efe ecu is removed and replaced with the 5e ecu or is the immobiliser just requires the signal from the key which is that ring around the ignition barrel ? thank you
