  1. right, just looked on my bank, and ive been paying these cunts for over a year, couldnt be arsed looking any further back. but im payin £11.12 per month, i dont know what for, never even knew i was a member lol. anyone got any ideas on how to cancel this, or find out what im payin for or what, ive had a look on there website, but there is only the £100 option, or the £150 one, but im payin £133 a year, for what lol. cheers oh, and who does others use? what do you pay?
  2. the 197, i wouldnt buy for power, str8 line, there poor, ive had a blast with one, and it wasnt very good, but on the back roads, i couldnt get my starlet anywhere near it, and i'd like to think i can drive them. but for the comforts, if its got all the options that is, there a nice car to drive, and they look pretty cool aswell. ah, i know the colour you mean, sunflower, same nearly as the pulsar in your sig. carbon will look cool on that colour.
  3. aye, a think a might. think wen a get home, the starlet will get a wheel refurb, a new MOT, and a forsale sign. sounds like you got a bargain, and i love that yellow, ive looked at a 197 in that colour, looks the business like.
  4. i would imagine he means torque for engine components, as the above details, would prob be on the first link on google.
  5. lets see the clio, i was looking at gettin one of them for the summer. shitter on the starlet tho. and your link dont show any car, its just a link to your thread on tgtt
  6. the continuity accroos the two point where the fuse was? that will read OC mate, you need to measure accross the fuse, or take the fuse out, and measure the volt drop accross it, if there is power, there will be a voltage, but it must be done with the fuse out. if it looks and smells like burning, it should have tripped overload, which in the car is protected by the fuse. so if its burnt, or burnt smelling, i would head to the fuse.
  7. thats if they went at the same time, poster said the car was bought with both windows faulty. best way to trace that is from the switch at the windows, back, trace the power untill you find it. pitty there arent many electrical drawing for the starlet wiring, otherwise its simple. i dont want to sound patronising. but how did you test the fuse with your multimeter? resistance? or volts accross the fuse inline?
  8. well, when you get the saxo, make sure before you hand cash over, you lift the boot carpet, axle mounts, inner arches if its had the spashguards removed, check the back axle wheels should be like this [-----] if they are like this /-----\ Then the back axle is shot,/ coilovers for the front only, back is axle,no springs, so only need a good set of billy b8's or summit similar.
  9. if its too cheep, there is usually a reason, td04 setup for £90. maybe thats the reason
  10. maybe because it was japfest, and its a jap hatch lol this is quite tidy, and ready to go, and in your budget http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314510
  11. thats the thing tho, its what you want to build. french cars, i know enough about, its what i worked with for about 8 years before the starlet, never ever owned the saxo, but it and the 106 are the same, bar the saxo being a tiny bit lighter. engines are strong, there good we cars, and stadard you would have fun on the track. get yourself on saxp, there is a lovely white track vts there, not alot of power, but i'd recomend it, as even without the power, knockhill is pretty ideal for a wee car like that, they love the twisties
  12. have you got voltage accross the fuse? first thing, check there is power gettin to the door? if there is, check the switches are gettin voltage. just work back through the wiring. its simple enough.
  13. a 1.9 205 would be better than that rallye, and would cost atleast a grand less. you can buy an mi16 205 for under 2k now. what "fast road" cams are in the tu5jp? people always claim cams, but then say they wer told that when they bought the engine. a 106 or a gti would be good. mate you could get a vts for 700, then the rest of your budget would get you some cams, standard pulleys are adjustable, AT DTH TB's are very cheap, 800 or so, and a predator ecu, and he will map it, that should call 170 bhp, in a saxo, around a track, you will piss people off, if its only for track, see if you can
  14. but financially, which is as hes looking at it, once the bits have been fitted, they loose alot of £££, just for him to then sell it on, ricky did, cat did, a few of the big builds n the last 6 months seem to get mapped up, and then people aint got what they expect, so break them. i had planned a 5e build this summer, but after alot of the bigger power builds get a months use, then sold on, i decided against it, im gunna get a little mx5 super/turbo charged, and just have some rwd fun for the summer. personally, i think you should break it, it seems like your not into
  15. the mileage on the shell is correct, and the speedo, im still waiting to hear where he got his 30k engine, from what import specialist, as there is none near me. but the engine was bought, because the previous one was blown up.
  16. haha, aye, i think a know of it, sure it got a new engine, because the boost was turned up on the other one, and the engine and turbo where replaced. they boy used to have a corsa. and i had a look through his feedback, and hes been buying corsa bits before the starlet bits, so im assuming its this one.
  17. thats in my home town, aint seen it before, and the username dont ring a bell, im gunna quiz some folk lol.
  18. makes no odds what he paid for it, you still buy cars from dealers, and thats how they work, if the guy has done what it says, hes put some man hours into it. and by the add, it looks like its had a new engine, and while the block was out, the timing belt, HG, and all the other gear has been done, if he has reciepts to prove it, then sure the car is worth his asking price, only thing is the manifold and decat quote, for £130 for the pair, im not sure they would be too good. just my 2p. downside, its not original colour, so not appealing to all
  19. hope you dont use morrisons fuel, i put it in mine onced, and it run like a bag o shite, in the end i drained about £20 and put it in my mums rover haha
  20. <br /><br /><br /> must be the heat up that side of the country haha
  21. aye, as i said, shes too nice for the track. the wee ax your on about, its not the supercharged one is it? used to be in a saxo.
  22. its a white one mate, might still be on pistonheads, its a very nice wee car, here, http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1548205.htm i nearly bought it as a road car for myself, the interior is spotless in it, and she's a nippy we car, but like i said, i think its too good for the track.

    Quick Q

pics of the clocks before transfer, or have the clocks adjusted, with pics of the other clocks side by side to prove it
  24. my mate is selling a valved axgti, but too mint for th track to be honest, personally, i'd go for a 205 gti, my old track cars are all them, either a throttle bodied mi16, or a carbed 1.9, 1.6 box, one of the best handling track cars you will get, even standard they are awesome
  25. ahh, shes same age as me, just i thought she looked older lol. still, not my type, so you can hav "1st dibs" this time phil
