its orite, there is a big asian community in newcastle, which aint far. quite a big car scene there aswell, alot of cruises go on. i know there are a few north east boys on here with ep's, maybe 15 or so. its a pitty you dont drink or club, its one of the best places ive been out in, and ive been out drinking in most citys in the uk. aye its cold enough.
  2. cheap reliable car to be honest, most people will give you the rover headgasket talk.
  3. because i thought i was a rally driver when i was younger lol. and have a long list of convictions, wellslowly dissapearing of my license, for insurance purposes, i still have to decalre a TT99, with three CD30's as the cause, and also a CD30 but on the plus side, ive now not had point or nothing for 3 and half years, and in that time ive paid around 8 grand on insurance, my new car is now £2560 to insure, so before anyone starts on poor driving and anything else, never have i been done for Dangerous, nor have i been involved in anything dangerous, i just got fucked for stupid shit,
  4. sad as it is, ive passed my test 5 times, never failed, most ive had is two minors, for speed, going to fast in country roads. my theory's, ive never failed either, nor the hazard perception, but im afraid i cant remember any of the scores lol

  6. yeh, and i heard he just got jumped aswell... you've probably ruined his life.
  7. youve managed to hide all yours?? the brakes are shit mate, even in stadard form, they fade after like half a second. my first few mods on my car wer, brakes, lines, bearings, bushes. and then coilovers. and to me that sorted out the shite before i was to go chasing power.
  8. yeh, but thunderpants is homeless and jobless now because of what he said first time round.
  9. as soon as you machine it, you change the properties, and the way it deals wth stresses. im sure cusco and fidanza both make there own. here is asomething from the fidanza website 2. WHY DO YOU OFFER BOTH STEEL AND ALUMINUM FLYWHEELS? – Our steel flywheels are designed to be some the strongest flywheels on the market. They are designed to be used where extreme strength is the issue and not increased performance. Some examples of this would be in rock crawling vehicles and sand rails. Our aluminum flywheels are also very strong and will give a tremendous boost in performance without affecti

  11. wow, very rarely do you see honesty from a glanza driver lol.
  12. think it is a repost, ive deffo seen it afore, he gives it something round the track tho, fairly good driver.
  13. sorry fella, fuel cut aint got nothing to do with the speed limit, its mechanical, via the speedo cable. Fuel cut restricts the boost levels, thats all.
  14. tryin to start a fight like? obviously the gt mate, only girls drive glanza's.
  15. they actually use a different material, which has a higher tensile strength, this being able to cope with the stresses upon them, but with a total mass less than that of the standard. im not arguing about it either, there are plenty of examples, with "lightened" flywheels failing. have a search, yes they may also be plenty, with them not failing, but why take the chance for the sake of £100? everybody is entitled to there own opinion on it. mine has been said.
  16. because people buy them to break them. because the value is so low just now, with owners pricing the market down to get quick sales. so there cheaper to buy, and worth breaking. i dont mind, makes the "2" i own, more rare'r by the day. oh, and chesh, youve left he calipers on the car, they will sell.
  17. i agree, i dont think lightening a standard flywheel is safe, i dont care how many people have done it, and have yet to experience a problem, it only takes one time, the rpm it turns at, the acceleration and force if it wer to become damged, it will split you in half. if your having so much work done, i would also have the head ported.
  18. do you even read what was said. the guy mentioned, more boost, means the gap needs to be smaller, then you say the same thing as him. to the poster off the thread, have you pulled your plugs? sounds like whats been mentioned, are the plugs wet? how did you set the fpr, as there are different settings for wether the vacuum pipe is on or off.
  19. looks identical to mine. mine is nardi torino or summit
  20. or even better, his mums beef curtains.
  21. yeh youve done well mate, i couldnt be arsed with the hassle after seeing your thread, and a few others, so ive bought myself a 300bhp plus one instead, and might just drop it into my quadlight lol. fairplay, will be good to see some pics of it once she's on the road and in a few good locations.
  22. looks lovely this mate, good work on her, bet you cant wait to get her out and running on the road.
  23. my mistake fella, i read the date on the flare wrong, i think it reads september 1995, which would come accross as original. anyways, youve got a nice wee car there for little money.
  24. looks good, i like the steering wheel in there aswell. dont think the flare is an original tho.
