i would imagine with the back pressure mentioned, prob pushing pressure from the oil dipstick. blow past, but i dont get why a stuck lifter would cause pressure in the sump? pressumably, that would cause a lack of power in the cyl with the stuck lifter, due to no compresion on that cyl. m interested in the how the conclusion came about...

thats expensive, why are a company who import not throwing a timing belt kit on it? considering its been on for 3 years, i'd be putting a new timing belt kit on it. i like glanza's, but to be honest, ithink a little like you, ive never seen another gt since i got mine, ive had it since august last year. there is 6 glanza's in the town i live. so prob wont ever change it, gt goes, it will be for summit rwd or 4wd

what sort of power did it run mate? and what sort of deal are you after for an 82? let me know mate. as if you only need an engine, its only a days work, £500 and that would be all new fluids, timing belt, the lot. cheers

alot of people seem to think the japs all look after them, sure they get raced alot of there, and another thing on the fresh import is people assume once a car has been in for a year, it will be rusty as feck, which is not the case. i would buy a import thats been her alot of years, the mx5 i get for the summer will have been imported a few years ago, but i dont mind, i will inspect the car myself, and if im happy, i buy.

The price on these cars is like yoyo's, got offered 3k from about 4 people for mine only 3 months ago, now i'd take 2.5k for it. just wierd.

i work, 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off. on my weeks on, i average 8 hours a day, and hget to see some of the world. 0 my salary just now is 2843.95 this is paid into my account every month, thats after deductions(i dont pay tax, only NI and Student loan payments) just now im finishing of my mums mortgage, as my dad aint working at the moment, well hes just started again, but i'll leave it a few months for them to get back on there feet, i also put 1700 in a seperate account each month, and this will soon be enough to get a 50% deposit on a house, as fuck payin interest when i can live with my mum. the rest is mine, and i dont half waste it, on my 6weeks onboard, i dont have to pay for nothin, so what i earn is in the bank for me to waste when i get home.

it looks like you will need two bolts on the other end locked tight, and then screwed off, looks from the pic its got a thread into the rack. ive not removed one, but makes sense that it would be threaded in

track rod end? sure its just a spanner, and for the bottom bolt, just a spanner, and then hit it with a hammer
