Why you changing the rack? But theirs two clamps which have 4 bolts/nuts just above lower gearbox mount. And then theirs the 14mm nut which holds the column to the rack..

You using a servo and master cylinder from a gtr r34? The 2zz like rob said above looks a very close fit. Need to lay my hands on one.

So a celica say st202 might fit? Is very interesting. My issue is my servo is most likely faulty so if theirs a upgrade of sorts then well worth some research. I did hear that yaris ones could fit a few years ago..

Get some pics.. However the spline has never been issue before like socks said. Only thing might be the circlip on end of shaft..

The pic you have posted pat.. The inner spline you highlighted is the hub side (classed as outer spline in the trade). Thst will be 23 as with all starlets. The bit that connects to your driveshaft is the bit highlighted outer teeth. This will either be 23 or 30. Until you remove your current cv and count the splines dont order until you know exactly the spline count.
