The chatter with the EFI pipe and stadard TMIC is a bit gay and cant really hear it. Just block that little vacuum pipe that goes to the top of the DV Front mount filter and intercooler and it was sound class

They are pretty hard wearing the gaskets but its better to change for piece of mind It might be easier to remove the manifold aswell depending if its a standard one as If I remember correctly the turbo bolts are hard to get to with the stock mani in place

Its only a few more bolts to just get the turbo off mate, would make life alot more easier. Luckily when I bought my new turbo I done it in uni before fitting it using a die grinder and a vice to hold it. Takes quite along time aswell and I ported the area by the exhaust wheel as you said dont know whether it made a difference or not but done it to be safe.

Pretty sure the full clusters have the filters inside them for them to glow the right colours i.e red where as if you had just the lenses you would need coloured bulbs

Sit in them before you buy them, trust me About as supportive as a park bench

I had braided lines and grooved discs and Greenstuff pads on my n/a and no complaints here Just put some decent fluid in aswell. Dont get Mintex pads they are shit yellow stuff are meant to be good

Oil shouldnt make that much difference mate. As said was it doing it before you changed the valve?? Dont know how you can check if the valve is working
