ah, nice! could probably use the backbox without problems. is the system from a 91 or 82? if its an 82 the hangers will need modifying to fit.
-
Im looking for a new exauhst too as mines blowin like a hoe. in theory i dont see why the back box and senter section from the japspeed system wont fit. but becasue its made for turbo application the inside diameter of the pipe will be too large and wont provide enough back pressure. so you'll probably see a loss in performance. go custom. ive been getting quotes of around 250 for 2" cat back with 3" angled back box.
-
Nice result dude what are you aiming for with the new turbo ?
-
thanks for the offer dude but i cant, problems becasue of the coilover was pinching on it, and thats all siezed up, so she's on axle stands cheers tho

When this happened to my mates beamer, he drilled out the bolt, then tapped a thread and used a helicoil to get the thread back to the headbolts correct size. Its not really ideal tbf, last resort.

if you want to strip the wries from the airbags, aircon, power steering, then maybe try and source were the cables originate in the fuse box or something? failing that could you connect all the loom to the engine and what ever you have left unconnected, unroute through the loom?
-
shocking ha being serious, thats a verry reasonable email. the fact is that its damn right dangerous to be able to get a shock from HT leads. they should replace the leads i would have thought

What tyre's are you using? also how are the tyres wearing? on one side or evenly?

Hi guy's, Im a bit stuck as to what path to go down in getting a uprated exhaust. so far ive been looking at getting a 5e OBX mani and cat pipe, then getting 2" custom system from that. But i read somewere that there isnt much if any gain from the obx mani. does anyone know what o/d the 4-2-1 mani from the gen 1 corrolla is? and if it can provide a better gain than the obx? my exhaust is pretty much falling apart so i need a new system anyway so the fact that the obx wont fit the rest of the system isnt a problem. thanks in advance
