Hope this worked out all right! By the way, most OEM metal lines are steel, not copper - meaning flaring them can be a bt tough!

I use an anglegrinder's pin-spanner on the MR2 rear ones! JUST fits, bit fiddly.

If there was a female threaded tool/puller that went onto the top part would that make life easier? Or do things get in the way?

I would honestly get a server in a server farm - soooooo much safer and faster to fix problems when they occur... -
Good luck chap!

Don't forget the first layer of EBC's "break-in coating" is abrasive to resurface the disc, the dust should drop off a bit once you're through to the proper compound...

Shame there's nothing like the Citroen C5 15" (or 16"?) "steel look" pressed aluminium wheel - they are VERY light (cost £22 new from dealers and were 4.3kg!). Look how thick the material is around the holes:

I suppose the upside of an open-top car is you can get a mate to stand on you and pull on the straps 'til they hurt the correct amount!

I like having a roof. That's why I never went down the kitcar/7, MX5 or even bike routes!!!

Just a quick update as we had a batch of kits arrive last week, and there are two left.... I'm letting people who were "waiting/interested" know, but no-one put a deposit down so these are available to the first person with the readies!

You're going to need a roomy 14" or a 15" wheel really, but here's the bottom line so you can test each wheel to save speculation: EXISTING KITS 4P107 - Normal 275x22 size kit with best wheel clearance printable clearance test profile: 275x22 kit PDF 4P109 - Heavy duty 277x25 size kit with more thermal mass printable clearance test profile: 277x25 kit PDF In addition there is a proposed "smallest possible" 262.5mm kit to try and fit some 14" wheels, here's the profile, accurate to about 1.0mm: 262.5mm kit PDF Hope that helps! -
Looks good! My youngest brother has one of these, chipped and polybushed etc, he's found a really cheap place for coilovers as well so we'll see if they are any good. Him and my middle bro (in his Mrs's E36 318ti compact) and a load more more E36's are about to do a huge Euro road trip - out to the Alps then back via the Nurburgring and Spa! Actualy Gareth (the midddle bro) has been doing loads of BMW LSD rebuilds and upgrades, he normally replaces the bearings and the plates as well as custom machined ramp angles (ie set the diff up to lock more aggressivly for race use etc) - could be handy

Do I hear "banded steels"? -
54mm or 55mm bore, and the same caliper mounts as the EP82 etc you mean?

Just had some WMS calipers arrive this morning.....they'll be gone VERY quickly though. Don't forget to check the spares prices too (pads and discs) to get a proper comparison. Wilwoods are more common mainly because they have been around for longer! As a smaller (UK) business this makes it harder to gain a reputation, but more and more people are swapping to our kits, mainly due to: - attention to detail in terms of design (like the stainless threaded insterts to prevent corroded threads in the brackets) - spares prices (normally a lot less than standard-fit parts!) - customer support (he

Cheers for the votes guys - pretty even but after further pondering it's the (dayglo) orange/greys/white that takes it! -
I normally get a quote off compare the meeeeeeeerkat .com, then ring Flux up and say "beat this". They say "we need proof" so I just give the person on the phone the login/password I used with the Meerkats and leave them to it!

Closest I've seen in real life is a (private jet) aircraft hanger...

My 'lil brother picked up a chipped E36 325i Sport for £450 last month! Him and my middle bro (in his Mrs's E36 318 Ti? Compact) and a load of other E36's off the E30zone are going on a euro road trip this month, doing the Nurburgring and Spa on the way home! I don't have an e36 so I'm missing out... There's some mod about fitting 318is throttle bodies to the 2.8 I-6 or something that rings a bell - BMW had to wind the 328's neck in due to being close to the M3's power so they restricted the 328's inlet...might be the E30 Ive heard it about but well worth checking it out.
