  1. Yeah. I wonder if air ducting to the disks would make much difference. This new set i've got (pictured above) will be doing a 20 min session at Mallory and Donington so we'll see if they cope better. My original EBC disks looked great, but older EBC components have a reputation for being a bit shit. Now they insist their products are made to a higher standard.
  2. Horsepower has nothing to do with how effective the brakes are. 100mph is 100mph regardless of 130hp or 300hp etc
  3. Another decent set of pads you can use are Carbotech ones, but you're looking at £100+. http://www.carbotech-europe.com/ How long were you out on track? I warped a set of disks with yellow pads after 15 minutes round Donington but thats probably due to heat increase/decrease to the disk.
  4. There's a bloke breaking an ep82 with injectors like this over on TGTT
  5. Yellow pads are probably the best out of yellow/green and red. I've had yellows on mine since 2009 and they work good when cold, amazing when hot! Bought another set last week, from Tuning Developments which was a couple of quid cheaper than cam skill
  6. Drives me mad when people do that. It's the same as when people move next to a railway/airport and complain about trains and planes. Idiots.
  7. Sorry will do so now
  8. I know I'm not the first to ask but if you're selling track time, let me know!
  9. I've got some leads, possibly Magnecor ones available. They're blue. PM me if interested
  10. I've got a modified Blitz Nur Spec on mine. Had an extra flexi pipe put in, and an extra bracket to stop it smashing into speed bumps.
  11. Cheers, yeah the colour match is perfect which was surprising. I've been told there is three shades of 1A0 and they couldn't guarantee a match. Cheers, I'd like to but for two reasons 1) Don't want flies, birds, stones etc flying through and damaging the rad fans directly behind. I've got two slimline fans there. Also without the mesh, you can get your hand in enough to probably do some damage. The mesh has just been delivered about 5 minutes ago and it's quite nice, not chavvy. Happy to bring it over to you guys at various events, I just thought that as I didn't buy a ticket through the UKSO, you guys wouldn't want it there.
  12. Got my Glanza back from the bodyshop, after having a Toms front bumper, rear duck spoiler fitted and drivers door resprayed. They've done a brilliant job on the repair of the bumper as it was in pretty crap condition, just some minor alterations needed on the fogs and the slightly larger gap between the bonnet and the bumper next to the grille. I've got some mesh to go where the grille was too. Thoughts?
  13. Micra Sports Club. Been a member with them for about 10 years so they let me tag along! Need to start attending more with you guys though!
  14. I have a WEPR one available
  15. Mine She held up quite well considering, so bought another one
  16. I've done low 15's when I had 190hp, I just couldn't launch it right. Car was completely full of crap too. Even with a passenger it was still low 15's. Some people were telling me to lower tyre pressures and stuff and strip weight, but I wasn't really chasing times, more for fun.
  17. Original radios were double Din weren't they? Mine was anyway and it had Sat nav built in and speaks Japanese.
  18. I'm going with a different club, and staying at the Days Inn hotel on the A50 the night before. Usually get quite a few people stay there. Booked the Novice A track time session, as dont fancy killing the car on an open pit session! You can also hire pit garages for an extra £10 guys
  19. After seeing that Subaru, I'm thinking about buying one! Awesome thing. Can't wait for part 2
  20. Wish they had done that at Japfest 2 last year! The bloke didn't know what he was doing and somehow managed to record my Glanza at 98.4. Had to bung it to get on the track. Afterwards I went back and saw he had the sensor inside the exhaust and loads of people were failing!
  21. Lol, my understanding is that if you don't book tickets through the UKSO then you can't go on the stand, and I'm not leaving it in the public car park
  22. I'm there but already booked my ticket through the MSC like other shows, so if you see a Glanza and wonder why it's on the Micra stand, it's mine ;) Annoyed track time has sold out though. Was hoping to have a blast round!
  23. Ok mate thanks. I called them back and apparently it's no longer an issue, so they've obviously figured it out now. They also had an issue with fitting the duck spoiler as well but apparently now "it's not an issue". Just praying they've not bonded it on upside down or something stupid! Cheers for replies
  24. Have you got more details? All i'm going on is what the bodyshop is telling me. I have a 98 spec Glanza with the crystal fogs, which I wouldn't mind keeping
  25. Hey all My Glanza is at a bodyshop having a Toms bumper fitted but they've said the standard fogs don't fit. When i bought it, I was told that they were a direct fit. Has anyone had a go at fitting fogs to their Toms bumper? I've searched the boards but have not found an answer. This is the bumper in question, (pic borrowed from another thread) Help! Thanks Arnold
