Remove it or the vacuum pipe or adjust it so the springs tougher. plenty of people run like this problem free, I for one don't have a bov connected! You can get it by slowly releasing your throttle too.

Well, burning oil (oil making it into the cylinders) will produces smoke, whitey/grey/bluey quiet hard to see the exact colour from your mirror of course. Losing power could be compression loss, due to rings, if it is rings it's not a massive job just to buy another engine and chuck it in, it's easier and cheaper than rebuild too

I have a wrapped car, if you can get a decent spray for the same price I'd do that but the wrap is great and no one has been able to notice its wrapped. Con. Not quiet as tough Pro. Cheap to have damaged areas re done, and very easy to clean (the car in my display pic and build thread is wrapped)
