Always the problem with these I've heared of a few that have been fine, I'm guessing the problem with the welding is the turbine housing is cast? Have you fitted it well? Dean from rw developments made one for a forum member and tbf I never heared it blow, apparantly it was a tight fit and took a few taps of a rubber mallet to get it to sit flush, I take it there's a seperator in the decat itself as the others ive seen have?

From the thread I've just read on tgtt the owner of the forum said he'd seen two with standard rad, and they were so close that the engine movement brought it forward enough to pop the rads in both cases so simple answer is no...

Use high octane either way. It should give you more the cars mapped for more it wont be a massive amount. I do have a bigger turbo so I drive it like a n/a (Laggy turbo not daily friendly) which helps a bit, but even with ct9 I was doing similar mpg. And it'll help keep det at bay! Unless of course your a fan of a blown engine lol

use high octane these cars are mapped to a lot higher than what the best is over here, but it's helps keep detonation at bay, and you'll also notice your mpg rises. I get 30~ miles per £5 and that's with high fuel pressure and standard map.

The bulbs that were taken out have they gone white and misty with ball like things inside? I'd check the wiring harness that runs through the bay I had a look over some ones on here recently and the wiring had been scorched by close proximity to manifold

I have a lot of seperate qualifications in motor mechanics and heavy engineering and electrical so I'm pretty lucky in the fact if I had to search for jobs I could apply for a wide range, and also have forklift license, CSCS card etc

Yeah no one likes a snitch. Probably on some kind of disability allowance, I know a few people that look like normal people but have severe disabilities and get brand new cars and bits, some of them work some simply can't.

Some people have genuine reasons for claiming benefits to be fair though, I don't know it's just that kind of attitude 'i pay for that' that winds me up, the chances are one day you'll have to rely on a benefit of some kind for whatever reason. Fair play it's annoying when your working and you see the people on the jam role on Facebook down the beach enjoying the summer, but not everyone who is claiming can be tarnished with the same brush.
