  6. Soo, I have this megane dci 80 1.5 thing and I've been experiencing starting issues and injection fault over 3k revs and on start up. I found 2 glow plugs were fubard so replaced them with NGK units. Replaced High pressure Delphi injection pump, and fuel filter, also blasted fuel lines to remove any crap. When first code read I got something to do with glow plugs and rail pressure at minimum. Replaced the pump on the weekend (c*nt of a job) primed it and she started! left her running revved the tits out of it and all seemed well, turned her off and she wouldn't restart. Went through countless batteries raping them while trying all sorts of weird and wonderful tricks trying to solve the issue. When I managed to actually get it running I used degreaser to give it a hand to start, and with this it'll start fine and run fine, I managed to pull up the errors and I got: 530 A/C refrigerant sensor - 62 short circuit to earth permanent 235 inlet manifold air pressure sensor circuit - 6a permanent low level permanent 110 inlet air temperature sensor circuit - 75 open circuit or short to 12v permanent 89 rail pressure regulation function - DA 89 rail pressure resolution function - 45 at maximum limit intermittent I have had this up on the self diagnosis mode while trying to crank it: 'Panne captuer carburant' which translates to fuel sensor failure in english. I have cleared the faults and these come back no matter what, the only one of them that was present a week prior to changing the pump was the A/C sensor as there's no pressure in the system. On removal of the glowplugs they feel slightly cold, 10v ignition to them and 8v on cranking. Any ideas as to why I wouldn't be getting the start up, but what seems to be a good run once started?
  7. Keep the 98 spec uncut looks miles better and is miles more robust

  15. Sard is a very reputable name, it's built up a huge reputation within not only the starlet scene but also Motorsport in general it's tried and tested so people do reccomend them, it's not to say that other brands are atall inferior to sards
  16. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/35W-Xenon-HID-Bi-xenon-Hi-Lo-Conversion-Kit-H4-H-L-4300K-6000K-8000K-10000K-/121081374638?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c310327ae something like that but I only quickly looked, I just ebay hid h4 hi/lo sort by cheapest + postage first and I put price over £20 as I couldnt be assed to sift through the bulb replacements which come up first lol
  17. No, you'd need proper internally braided fuel lines, if you want something different get some braided lines made with an fittings (anodised) you'll need 1/8NPT anodised fittings for fuel reg and same for fuel rail
  18. h4-2 is two bulbs one xenon one normal bulb to cover full beam.
  19. go for h4 hi/lo then you have one hid bulb rather than another normal yellow bulb for your high beams. hi/lo throws the bulb out on a coil to change beam pattern so you get the hid affect at all times no crappy yellow tinge. maybe good to order led side light bulbs so you dont have the, ruining the cool blue with the yellow tinge too, eitherr than or remove em
  20. The pvc and breathers from what I remember
  21. IF you kept the condenser or what ever it is and wish to tidy the pipe work up slightly I've used hydraulic hose blanks before looked tidy.
  22. Yeah that was me! Mint glanza you have pal! I had a sard on my k24 glanza, on my td05 I put an FSE sytec on it, the idle was all over the place, my wideband plx dm6 plotted afrs over a graph and fse idle was up and down like a yo yo, it dropped pressure over time and took a few cranks to start. Got another sard one and on idle it flatlined and kept a consistent afr, sat a 14.7 without fail. They're awesome! It's the quality of that diaphragm that's inferior though, I'm not going to say they all are because that's just guess work but personally speaking I'd not be buying anything without a reputable name on it, but I understand some do and some have had nothing but good experiences with them like yourself but it is hit and miss.
  23. Be aware of the knock off sard ones too, if you can buy from some one on here thats got very good rep or buy new. You can tell fakes from reals but it's becoming increasingly harder, IF you source one I'm happy to send you details of what to look for.
