  1. @ Bluebear, changing the internals solves that problem yeah Believe you can swap in the more durable silvertop internals for more reliability
  2. They do have a tendancy to self destruct yeah, otherwise good car (think lightweight engine internals are the main cause of AE111 engine death)
  3. How about driving 180 miles home from a holiday in all the snow we've had......not so fun.....
  4. Tis well spec'd yeah Saw that on ae111.co.uk ages ago when it was still in Japan
  5. Not sure AlexGTAdv on here though was running 135bhp @ wheels with induction kit, decat and exhaust and boost controller and I think uprated actuater also. Still had the TMIC too. 178bhp sounds quite high though, unless he's upped the boost a lot....?
  6. Never get any trouble from anyone (apart from JAG :harhar:)
  7. I was planning to go home around lunchtime on Sunday, or whenever I feel sober enough, so as Stevo said tis likely us PaseoClub peoples won't be able to make it.
  8. Every little helps And not everyone wants the hassle of changing the cat every MOT
  9. I'd PM Joz on here (Jozinobi) as he's running a 5efe in his Starlet, so could tell you if a loom was needed to swap the engine, which should in turn answer your question :harhar:
  10. Bourkey, do the FMIC, do it :harhar: (it'll look good)
  11. Don't think it's so much people hating Saxos generally, more what some people do to them/how some people drive them
  12. Is anyone going to do a before and after dyno run by the way?
  13. I actually like that, tis nice and tidy And yeah, assuming you avoid speed bumps :harhar:
  14. Agreed, new location needed, otherwise people will end up spending more time travelling than actually being at the meet. Need to find a friendly pub with a big car park or something along those lines?
  15. Ah, carbon buttons Unusual, but liking them. Nice touch
  16. I follow the JAG style of driving
  17. If they're being made to order so-to-speak (as in each one will vary slightly depending on the customer) put me down for one
  18. Makes sense Rob Think typical size will be 2" Although actually, most people have cat back exhausts, so depends what size the standard starlet pipework is before the cat? (I know Paseo is 2", but think Starlet is 1.75?)
