  2. Ok, let me find a mint stock EP82 bonnet and I'll get work started. I've been waiting months on a Gi bonnet but it hasn't work out as someone promised me. I should have moulded the bonnet before selling the car to them tbh, even though they did promise they'd lend it back to me for a mould!! I'll update this with progress.
  3. It's filthy, that pic hide the dirt though! This doesn't even come close to my S3 tbf, one guy on the Clio owners club said he had 2 Glanzas, an Audi S3, Nissan 200sx and a few others - and he says his Clio is better than all of them. no chance. They do seem a great bunch though.
  4. Haha, I don't think you'd ever get it right as I always end up with the most random cars!
  5. No pictures yet. If there was enough interest I'd have a stock EP82 bonnet modified and show you guys before having a mould made from it.
  6. Sweet, interior looks so tidy now. I've got a set of Celica brakes which perform very well and are cheap.
  7. Yes mate, being sent in for moulding either tomorrow or Tuesday so they will be added to the website in 2 weeks or so. Unfortunately no 96 spec Jam lips, they would fit if extended by 2-3cm in the middle.
  8. Yes Clio Sport 197, sorry mate already have two Glanzas and don't fancy another! Forgot to mention it has a years Renault warranty on it too.
  9. Probably 2 weeks or so mate! You know what I'm like, I don't buy cars to keep. Just to 'try' Amjad the funny thing is I am painting my Silver Glanza this colour as I decided a few weeks ago. Quite ironic I ended up with one in this colour too!
  10. Had plenty of vags in the last 4 months! Yes it's french and yes it's a bloody Clio! Excuse the dirt. Can't be arsed washing it yet.
  11. It's not a Honda, but I've had 2 Civics before and a CRX so already been to the dark side! Not a Ford either, although I did almost buy a 2003 Mondeo ST220.
  12. Come on lads! The BMW would be a 2 door, and the RX-8 a 4 door!
  13. .. my new daily driver? It'll probably last me a month or so just like the others, haha! It's a 2008 58 reg, 3 doors, 2.0 N/A. That's all the clues I'm giving!
  14. Hi, I have had a few requests for these in the past and just another one today from Josh, so I'm posting this up to see how many would be interested? It would be a fibreglass EP82 bonnet with the Cruise scoop, very lightweight and around the £300 mark plus shipping. Bonnet pins will be required. UPDATE 24th July 2015 Although this thread is 3 years old, we can still go ahead with this Group Buy if we have 5 definite buyers. Cheers Idrees
  15. Switching the belts didn't work buddy. I must have had the wrong pulley on it then, here's the one I removed off the car. This side is the smaller side and faces the crank: On this picture, the 'key hole' is on the upper side (the smaller pulley side) - this side facing the crank This bigger side facing away from the pulley, it's impossible to fit it with this facing the crank due to the design of it. Another picture of the side that faces the crank: If it looks like a weird pulley, maybe it had been replaced some time in the past and isn't a factory fitted Starlet one!
  16. Indeed. Here's the best pic I managed to get, excuse the filth. If you look very carefully on this OEM pulley, you can see the outer side is bigger:
  17. I thought I had it on the wrong way too, but the notch that fits on the crank was on the inner side as its supposed to be?
  18. Right, the Oem main pulley has a bigger side for the PS pump and a smaller side for the alternator. The CJ pulleys are the opposite way around, hence the original belts being the wrong length. It fits fine and works perfectly well, I just needed new belts. If the other CJ pulleys (alternator, water pump, ps pump) are exactly the same size as the originals, then those using the full set of pulleys will also need new belts. If those pulleys are a slightly different size to make up for the difference then you should be able to reuse the original belts. New belts only cost me £10 so no biggy, but
  19. This is going to look different to others I can assure you A little update.. I gave her an oil & filter change then ended up removing the Air con while I was at it. Replacing this: With this: I still need to change the spark plugs as I don't know when they were last replaced! AC out: The radiator was refilled with fresh coolant and fitted with a set of blue Samco hoses and Roose Motorsport turbo water hoses. No pics of them though. Then finally... She got moved to her new home. Its not huge but there's enough space to work on the car and I'm hoping it's a little warmer tha
  20. Cheers guys, the initial plan was to paint the bonnet yellow but I like it satin black so it's staying like this for the mean time. Already in talks with magazines, cheers though. ;) I fitted a new pair of aux belts today, went over all the bolts under the car and found a couple not 100% tight (as expected) so tightened those up and got the car on the floor. I also made up a new filter relocation kit as the other one didn't hold up for too long, it came loose with the vibrations, so it now sits here: I miss the sound of the open turbo but overall it's been a couple of progressive days as
  21. Is there any particular reason why you need a valve spring compressor when changing the HG? Pleased to see a cracking result for this beast! Good luck with the HG!
