  1. Thank you guys, really appreciate the motivation! Si we changed over a lot of brake components to have them working! That's some progress from today!
  2. Awesome attention to detail! I bet it drives so nice now. I can't stand the front end on these though, rear looks fine but the front is horrid.
  3. Yeah Race-tech, thanks a lot for the nice words guys! Some of you may have seen that we finally tackled the huge break saga. Changed the servo, distributor and brake pipes and finally had some luck. Now they are working which leaves very little left to do! Spent the day in the unit today and managed to respray the rear bumper. Hoping to have the rest done within the next week or two.
  4. Definitely one of my favourites wearing an ID-Workz kit.
  5. Welcome along!
  6. I'll try that too, but for now bump for any info! I need to know whether it will work? I don't have the original TB on and the stock manual TPS doesn't suit my new throttle body.
  7. I'll try my best, not too much to do now!
  8. UPDATE! After changing the servo, distributor and the brake pipes they are finally working! We bled them a few times after changing everything over and finally got pedal feel!
  9. Top man, sorted! It only went like this a couple of days ago, feels good to be normal again!
  10. Why are all posts in a topic not showing fully? Only happening on my iPhone, I've checked the usual board settings but all options selected are normal. Any suggestions?
  11. Just because they do not fit with your seat doesn't mean they are no good. ;)
  12. I was careful when fitting them to the callipers and I'm almost 100% sure that they fitted nicely. I'll remove the nipples and check the threads today. We replaced the distributor, servo and all the brake pipes in the engine bay with copper pipe and new unions. Need to get fit it finished today and see if we have any luck.
  13. Why is the engine gonna go bang in the GT? Just leave it alone and drive it, you don't need to spend money on it.
  14. The servo? No leaks to be seen but I'll try another today.
  15. The old nipples were rusty anyway so I did fancy some fresh ones. I've removed the inlet and double checked all the connections. Some were not 100% tight but still not loose enough to leak, tried to bleed them once again after tightening them but there's still absolutely no pedal feel on the first push. There's no fluid coming inside the car from the servo either. I asked around a few motor factors but nobody can supply a brand new cylinder, Toyota want £190 for a new cylinder and £420 for a servo! I think I will try another servo if I have a spare.
  16. A zip wheel. Stick that at the end of your grinder and you're good to go! A serious bit of kit, it will rip out all the paint/nasty hammerite and even get rid of any sound deadening!
  17. I imagine that would be a right pain, probably easier to whip the head off and use the valve clamp tool. Would take no more than 20 minutes using one of them, plus the time of removing and fitting the head! Glad you're sticking with it Phil, looking forward to see what else you have planned!
  18. Never noticed any fluid inside, but it will be worth a check. I'll have a look today. The original nipples on mine were tiny, between 6 and 7mm (neither 6 or 7 though). Dave (TM-D) said it's an american size spanner I needed so I thought sod that and replaced all 8 nipples. I'll be removing the inlet manifold today to check all the connections, will update you all mlater! Thanks for all the help so far!
  19. Discs mate. Lewis I'll have to check it all once over for leaks again then, possibly with the inlet manifold off to make sure I can check it over properly.
  20. Yes fluid is coming out of all the bleed nipples. First it looked all milky as it was full of tiny air bubbles, but now the fluid is clear.
  21. The original bleed nipples on the Wilwoods were rubbish, I bought some replacements so when you open it the whole thing opens if that makes since? And yes I've just been bleeding the top two. That's probably next on the list. Just thinking now maybe the bleed nipples I'm using aren't right for the callipers.
  22. Yeah, checked every single connection, nipples and brake pipes are all tight too.
  23. 5.1
  24. Hi guys We are have no progress with these damn brakes, we've tried literally everything to bleed the system but the pedal still hits the floor on the first pump. I've removed the ABS and replaced the front distributor and all the pipes with EP82 non-ABS parts. I'm using braided lines all round and Wilwood brakes at the front. I have replaced the master cylinder twice, we removed it again tonight to check all the seals are fine and found no problem there. We also tried to vacuum bleed it with a bottle and clear tubing, we saw some air escaping but the pedal still sunk. We have bled the brakes starting from the furthest from the master cylinder, no luck. Tried it again by doing them in a cross motion but still no luck. Started the engine up and tried to bleed them with the engine running, still no luck. Any ideas or suggestions? I might try a brand new cylinder again but I'm pretty sure my old one is fine, may try a new servo too but we saw mine when operating and it looked fine. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers Idrees
