  1. Chances are extremely slim tbh. I wouldn't bother unless it's dirt cheap.
  2. I'll try to save you the hassle! My photobucket has gone weird, they won't show until the 24th as I've reached my limit this month! I'd have hosted them again but don't have the pictures saved. Hopefully! You have a PM. PM me details and I might be interested! Fingers crossed!
  3. Order them from Camskills, you can just select the heat range! (NGK iridiums)
  4. I can imagine, a TD04 would give an awesome response on a 5E. I'm sticking with the TD05 for now, will see how it goes. I may swap it over with a TD04 later to compare the difference.
  5. Depends on the map imo, I'll go for 1.4 bar and I think it will be fine if Race-tech Ricky maps it. Cheers Josh, the wheels are staying! I've just dropped off the crank for a micro polish and I'm in the process of ordering ACL bearings, so it should be ready to be built soon hopefully!
  6. 5E-FHTE Build! Ok the decision has been made, it's time to go 5E - but not forged. I had an immaculate 5EFHE engine sat in storage just in case of an 'emergency' and now it's going to come in handy. I am currently having some work carried out: Mild head port and polish Valves reseated FTE pistons fitted to FHE rods I have ordered: Toyota OEM piston rings Toyota OEM engine gasket set Toyota OEM 3ETE flywheel (so I can use the 4E Spec paddle clutch) I still need a set of engine bearings which I'm struggling to find, ideally wanting a set of ACL duraglides. I'll also be using a 1.2mm ZEP headgasket with ARP headbolts. The TD05 kit is staying and possibly the custom inlet too, so it could be an interesting set up
  7. I've heard good things about ECC, I've dropped them an email. I'll try Kon on Facebook, thanks bro!
  8. I need a set of ACL duraglide bearings for a 5E but not sure where to order them from? I've asked Dave @ TM-D but he has none in stock. I'd consider any other decent brand too!
  9. I can still browse the site for any info but the EP91 and AUSC forums have tonnes of info too. ;)
  10. The 5E head I have is amazingly clean so I decided to use that, I did a Google search on 5EFHE vs 4EFTE valve springs and found someone had pressure tested them and they were just the same. I'll find the link now. Edit - Look here
  11. I'll go with the first option, I have a nearly new 4E Spec clutch here that I'd prefer to use. Just thought I'd check prices from Toyota to see if they're cheaper than Dave and atleast I know it will be with me by the end of the week. I'll give them a call and ask if they can identify the flywheel, cheers guys.
  12. Nomez what's the difference between the 4E and 5E head? The cam/valve seals will surely be the same? I don't need the turbo/inlet/head gaskets so I thought a 5EFE would do fine, atleast I know the crank seals will be the same? I don't have a Acis inlet but cheers anyway Mike. The HG size doesn't bother me as a 1.2mm Zep will be fitted. ;) Cheers for the replies.
  13. This might sound like a silly question; is the engine gasket set the same for a 5EFE and 5EFHE? I just want to confirm as I've ordered a 5EFE gasket set for a FHE engine.
  14. Hi Does anyone have the part number for the 5E flywheel that suits a 4E clutch? Cheers
  15. Cheers guys I really appreciate the support. The block is not worthy of a rehone, think they've rehoned it too much or something. When we removed piston and rod number 2, it just dropped straight out as if the rings were not even touching the bores! I'll see what I can sell this week and will work things out from the funds I have.
  16. My photobucket bandwidth has exceeded so the pictures on this PB account won't show until the 24th of this month, seems I've been uploading too many pictures. ;) I really don't know which way to go form here. I've been driving shitters since last April just because of this and I'm really tired of it, the weathers nice and I'd rather drive something better than my dads Micra! I've put most parts up for sale, might even start putting the interior and suspension parts up soon as I just want a nice car to drive and the Glanza won't be done until the end of next month either way. Good idea for getting the injectors back in, I think mine got screwed due to borewash from over fuelling. I had the car started many times after the rebuild and it never smoked badly, only when I started driving it. Take a look at the video below for example, just a bit of condensation but it's not burning oil here.
  17. Photos are ace, I doubt I'll ever to make it to any decent car show.
  18. Ah right, different to the chatter I've had on my Starlets, mine has sounded more squeaky lol.
  19. Sounds good but personally not a fan of the BOV sound, it is a Greddy?
  20. Did you prime the turbo before starting up the engine?
  21. Free Roose hoses? Jammy git!
  22. A shame indeed, and there's no need to apologise, you didn't know what was going on then.
  23. Amazing work on this project, hats off! So much better when all the work is DIY.
  24. Gutted I'm missing all these shows, just the same as last year.
